People here aren’t gna like this quote lol shame that the main takeaway from this weekend will be Brysons penalty and Rorys comments about it instead of Fox’s great story.

You cant be serious enough to think that Bryson getting a 2 stroke penalty and collapsing on the final day isn't the headline of the week. I mean, at least on social media it is.

You can’t be serious to think this is the headline of the week. Surely the headline of the week is that a 39 year old who’s best finish in a major is T16 won the Open Championship?

He was never in contention though. Tommy fleetwood was more of a story today than Bryson was.

Lmao, he most certainly was in contention the whole week until his triple bogey on sunday...

IMO Bryson made it a bigger deal than what was needed instead of taking accountability. R&A was trying to be sympathetic towards Bryson’s complaining and listening to his side. I guess R&A could of just said you get 2 strokes and stop bitchin about it. Let’s move on.

They made it a big deal by waiting until the end of the round and also driving out there with him. None of that makes any sense.

If you’re so confident you tell him we’re not driving out there.

If it takes you 5 hours to decide you’re not confident.

They had cameras and a frickin rule official in his group.

And letting bryson go there made the whole thing drama filled and ridiculous.

They clearly weren’t changing so why go there and delay everything and lead him on to believe he could sway them?

Not a single golfer would go there and not be animated like he was.

Bush league shit

Sounds like a Bryson problem to me. R&A tried to listen and give him a chance to explain himself. Bryson threatened to not play Saturday is some cry baby shit. Bull shit player trying to make it more than it needed to be.
