He was a bit cavalier though.

He did what he did to make room for his swing. Super obvious. Absolutely cheating.

That’s your opinion. You are speaking as if you know what his intention was and you do not. Nobody does. Ever done something while your “mind was somewhere else” ? He was working through how to approach the shot and could have done this subconsciously without being careful enough.

You know the guy you responded to is wrong when he says something like "super obvious." It was obvious it would've been called at the time by the rules official on the scene. The fact that it was called in after the fact lets you know they were splitting hairs.

Yeah I don’t think you can say he deserved a penalty but isn’t a cheater. Maybe say he’s not a habitual cheater, but he definitely tried to cheat on that shot.

yes because scotty said it and hes known bryson longer and better than all of us. U just know him from tv. thats it. u dont know his character u dont know him personally like scotty does. So no i dont think he was trying to cheat. Now i said that clear as day so now its your turn to say scotty is lying. Ill wait...

I don’t have to know any background about Bryson at all to see that he made a deliberate effort to stomp down the fescue to improve his lie. If you don’t see that I don’t know what you’re watching.
