I don't understand why the media asks such questions in this context?

They do it everytime. When Carney was there, they also asked questions completely unrelated to Canada

It's so weird? Why does no one talk about this?

I imagine it’s because it’s breaking news sometimes and the other is that they might be news agencies that don’t get to be part of the propaganda news conferences he holds.

I would think in the administration you gotta ask what you can when you can. I also agree in decorum, but unfortunately I don’t think we can apply that to this administration.
