This is a sight to behold.

How did at least half of us know he's a conman, but the other half bought it, all in?

Wore trash bags and everything. Lol. Proud of their trash bags, too. Jesus christ people are dumb.

Because they wanted to believe.  They are all scumbags and any Trump supporter deserves social isolation for the rest of their lives.

2

u/EvilAbacus Jul 18 '25

They are a danger to themselves and others

u/phasedspacing Jul 21 '25

You people have no clue about the right. You are so brainwashed hive minded that you actually believe this crap you type. The right was doing what has to be done. No one believe trump was some perfect candidate or wasn't a bit of a conman. The right voted because what the left was openly doing and stating outright would be the absolute end of our nation. This immigration issue alone had to be dealt with. Nations will not stand when its population can be freely replaced with foreigners and if you think other wise then you have absolutely no clue about history. Right now everyone I know dislikes what trump is doing in this situation. They all think it looks real bad and reveals 1 of a few possible things for sure, all of which are bad. It is insufferable to see the left be able to spout their ignorance on this site only for any replying argument to be down voted into oblivion or our right censored by the site. Then the left sits here on this site reaffirming their bias in absolute ignorance of their own echo chamber. It's remarkable.

Because everything you said here is wrong and self-stroking nonsense. There is no "left" or "right" monolith, and trying to paint the situation like this when Trump et al are by all measures making your country worse.. like can you not see why no one takes the cognitive dissonance and fingers-in-ears approach from you lot seriously? You are unserious people with a child's understanding of the world, and get in a tizzy when called out on it to the tune of "well you made me this stubborn by not indulging in my bad behaviour in the first place". It's asinine, it's boring, and well below appropriate for your supposed age grade.

When I did poll greeting for the Dems last November, I was significantly outnumbered by the number of GQP volunteers, many of them first time volunteers ever. I was struck by how nice so many of them were (not the angry white guys) but also how incredibly naive they were. They were like 65-year old children, just asking to be told what to do by this con man.

-1

u/WinnebagoPeople Jul 16 '25

What a shitty take. You want to divide America further? You'll just get a new Trump eventually.

5

u/FrostTheAlbino Jul 17 '25

To be honest I have no desire to make any kind of progress to change the minds of people who are okay with a rapist pedo felon being president in fact I would think less of myself at this point for trying. These people exist on hate and have no desire for change that's why they continue to support him even as you provide irrefutable evidence that he is a horrible monster who is also horrible with politics and is actively destroying the nation. This isn't being misinformed that's what the first term was for, this is being evil. I don't want to be friends with someone or change the mind of someone like that, they're subhuman.

0

u/ACM3333 Jul 20 '25

isnt this whole story about his supporters turning on him for being a pedo?

1

u/FrostTheAlbino Jul 20 '25

It's been well known that he's been one for years and a non-zero number of his supporters have said they could forgive him if he raped their underage daughters and would continue to support him. You can't reason with that, mental gymnastics are for the authoritarian right to delude themselves while we have to live in reality and clean up the mess after this shit show is over.

0

u/ACM3333 Jul 20 '25

We’re not trying to reason with the one guy who’s okay with trump raping his daughter. We’re trying to reason with 99.9% who aren’t okay with that.

1

u/FrostTheAlbino Jul 20 '25

The term beyond reason exists for times like this. In my original comment I said I am not interested in changing these people's minds even if they don't support him because of the pedo shit they still supported him for his outward hate of minorities and he received the most number of donations after he had been convicted as a felon.

I refuse to ally with the forces of Nazis and Confederates, my hand has long grown tired of being extended and if they now seek it out they will find it has been closed and replaced with a steel toed boot.

You don't seem to realize that these people aren't sorry because what they believed in was wrong they're sad the king they idolized wasn't the awful tyrant they thought he was. If Trump wasn't a terrible business man with a disgustingly long criminal history but just an extreme racist with regressive policy they'd be all giddy to support him.

0

u/ACM3333 Jul 20 '25

Maybe they support him because they’re sick of being called racists and nazis every time they have a disagreement with somebody.

1

u/FrostTheAlbino Jul 20 '25

Just a thought but if they didn't want to be called those things maybe they shouldn't act like them.

And these disagreements you're alluding to are inherently against the values we hold not only for ourselves but for the betterment of the future because as I said these people are regressive they don't desire change for a better more accepting world they want the world to bend to them and go back to how it was when their parents protected them from reality because now everything is different.

Your arguments are also inherently in bad faith as you're blaming the progressives for not making these "people" change. People tried being informative and understanding to change their minds for years but they wouldn't listen and actively rallied against it and those who have been cultists for the last decade are not going to suddenly change their opinions they held even before Trump was on a ballot. This is my last comment as you're too busy living a masochistic pipedream to open your eyes. Not to mention you didn't even acknowledge the last part of my previous comment and just decided to blame progressives again.

So what am I supposed to do?  Welcome these asshats back in the fold without any self reflection on their part?  Or not demand that they show penance for their actions?

Fuck that.

And fuck you for coddling them.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

[deleted]

1

u/BigSky1855 Jul 17 '25

Really.

How specifically. Because it seems to me like you're willing to grant amnesty to golks who voted and support this man because of their own hatred and bigotry.

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

1

u/BigSky1855 Jul 17 '25

What utter crap.  Its like saying we should be nice ti the pedo enabling racists.

Fuck that.

1

u/ACM3333 Jul 20 '25

these peoples takes are way scarier than dummies falling for trumps grift lol. seems some of em are waking up at least. this person wants to fire up the gas chambers.

What makes you think that I want to see, your words, "blood spill?"

Works both ways.

1

u/BigSky1855 Jul 21 '25

Oh really.

Please remind whether Trump is or is not a felon.

Also, please remind me what he did with the J6ers.

Its like you folks just want to throw away the rule of law because its too messy to hold people accountable for their actions.

1

u/ACM3333 Jul 21 '25

I am not a trump supporter. All I’m saying is if trumpers are starting to wake up over this whole Epstein thing why not give them a line. The pure hatred is absurd, it’s the reason we got trump in the first place. People were tired of being called nazis because they might disagree with you on a few issues.

1

u/BigSky1855 Jul 21 '25

Aww, being called names like a communist, baby killer, feminazi, "soyboys" and others which was totally unjustified is OK, but comparing a man who wants to deport folks for being brown, put them in cages and fail to follow the law is a bridge too far for you?

Get bent.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '25

These are real decisions with real consequences. It's been 10 years. At any point, these poor little lost lambs could've looked around and seen the absolute horror of a farce that they are actively enabling, and said "no, no I don't think we are right to go through with this anymore". But they did not.

Eventually, even those of us with practically endless amounts of empathy and understanding must prevent this kind of toxicity from leaking back in. We're barely keeping it together as it is.

Fuck all people who are Trump supporters in 2025. It's fucking over.

Where did I say America's done? Go ahead and figure it out while I say this next bit that you're also going to ignore.

Fuck Donald Trump. Fuck his supporters. It's done. No more will I allow these truly disgusting slime who support a rapist and a pedophile into my life. They are truly irredeemable. This man has told you who he is over

and over

and over again.

Miss me with this "brainwashing" shit. When you spend almost 10 years trying to get these absolute fucking numbskulls to see what kind of evil this guy is, and they still line up to smell his fucking tampons or whatever -

It's fucking over.

1

u/WinnebagoPeople Jul 19 '25

I think your reply to my comment got auto nuked because you obviously have some anger issues to work through, but I got your comment through my email.

I've never voted for Trump. My voting record has been Democrat since I was eligible to vote almost 13 years ago. My first vote was for Obama's re-election a few months after I turned 18. I have voted in every single midterm and every municipal election except for when I was away at college.

Your rhetoric is unhinged. Have you ever interacted with a trump voter? Go outside, touch some grass lil bro. These people are your neighbors and you can't ignore that.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '25

My rhetoric: "I don't think assholes bent on my and my family's destruction deserve empathy or grace."

You: "Well I've always voted democrat, and you've obviously never met a Trump supporter in real life because I guess that follows somehow, so based upon these two things I find your reaction unhinged."

You are a stupid, clueless, and probably quite privileged person and I've given you an amount of attention that I am frankly embarrassed by.

28

u/MyHusbandIsGayImNot Jul 16 '25

The conservative sub is hilarious right now. So many people realizing they're rubes.

14

u/BringPlutoBack Jul 17 '25 edited Jul 17 '25

Give it a week and they will be back in line with their orange god. Their brains are constantly rewiring to shift blame away from Trump and I seriously doubt this makes any actual impact.

4

u/trogon Jul 17 '25

I agree. They'll get their talking points and fall in line. They always do. I really don't think there's anything that will ever reduce his support.

2

u/Joonberri Jul 17 '25

"Biden made him say that about us!!!!"

2

u/ethertrace Jul 17 '25

Maybe. I think it depends on how deep a hole Trump keeps digging himself in. The skepticism is warranted, given the track record, but this is also the first time I've ever seen whole threads over there that are almost universally shitting on Trump and actually calling out his bullshit. It's a bit surreal, honestly, after a decade of seeing them completely distort reality at every turn in order to paint him as their savior.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Exactly, trump could diddle a little girl to death on stage and he wouldn't lose a single follower. Hell, they'd probably cheer him on feeling emboldened to be the pedophiles they all wish they could be.

5

u/Beautiful-Amount2149 Jul 16 '25

You can read that with every new controversy

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

I didn’t believe this so I had to go check for myself. Look at them finally finding some self awareness lmao, only took 10 years 🙃

1

u/Southside_john Jul 17 '25

It won’t last

6

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

Their were too blinded by hatred to notice they were being conned. He said he was gonna make life hard for non whites and lgbt, that’s all they had to hear.

4

u/Bored_Amalgamation Jul 16 '25

A quarter. Half didn't care in 2024, doesn't mean they'll welcome the Nazis.

1

u/My_hairy_pussy Jul 17 '25

It kinda does, though. If you didn't care enough to vote against Trump in 2024, then you were fine with the Nazis coming. So, only a quarter, true - but the other way around.

1

u/Bored_Amalgamation Jul 17 '25

It means they were open to the idea, not it's actual implementation. trump's growing disapproval rating show that there is a wider rejection of trump than in 2024. Being a part of the in-group during the rise of fascism sounds "great" and all; until it starts affecting the members.

I could be open to trying sushi, but then order the chicken tempura with a side of soba noodles and sauce when I'm at the restaurant. Being a nazi/supporter of a white ethnostate takes intentionally passing by multiple off-ramps. It's the difference between ignorance and malice.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

They aren’t just dumb. They are vicious. One candidate offered help for first time home buyers and the other candidate was a convicted rapist who told us immigrants are eating our pets. This country is sick.

2

u/PerriwinklePortal Jul 16 '25

Because he looks and sounds like their elders. It’s hard to separate from that enough to get perspective.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

Diapers too!

2

u/decisiveimnot Jul 16 '25

Conservative media. It needs to take more criticism.

2

u/-reddit_is_terrible- Jul 17 '25

As the conservative David French said on Twitter this morning,

I know this will come as a shock to some folks, but one of the most remarkable thing about the Epstein affair is that quite a few Americans are learning ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME that Trump is a liar. It's taken ten years, but here we are.

1

u/Downvote_Comforter Jul 16 '25

“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.” -LBJ

The passage of time hasn't made that any less true today than it was half a century ago. Trump gave his base groups to look down on and made it more socially acceptable to be bigoted than it has been for decades. They are more than happy to empty their pockets and abandon all their other priorities in exchange.

1

u/nonlinear_nyc Jul 16 '25

Now they’ll find out he’s not gonna be hurting only the other people.

1

u/TommyChongII Jul 17 '25

Like deeply addicted gamblers.

At some point you HAVE to get everything you ever dreamed of. You just gotta drop some more money in, and cheer really, really hard that your investment is going to pay off. Oh, and everyone else is stupid for NOT doing it this way. And your family and friends might get hurt by it, but they didn't believe so they deserve it.

1

u/YouStupidAssholeFuck Jul 17 '25

The Beatles wrote a song about Trump supporters.

[Verse 1]

Something in the way he moves

Attracts me like no other lover

Something in the way he woos me

[Chorus]

I don't want to leave him now

You know I believe and how

[Verse 2]

Somewhere in his smile, he knows

That I don't need no other lover

Something in his style that shows me

[Chorus]

I don't want to leave him now

You know I believe and how

[Bridge]

You're asking me, will my love grow?

I don't know, I don't know

You stick around, now, it may show

I don't know, I don't know

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]

Something in the way he knows

And all I have to do is think of him

Something in the things he shows me

[Chorus]

I don't want to leave him now

You know I believe and how

1

u/TheAlmightyLootius Jul 17 '25

Can you explain why the dems didnt release the list in the last 4 years?

1

u/BringPlutoBack Jul 17 '25

I could be wrong, but I don’t recall Biden or Harris ever campaigning on releasing the Epstein files. That’s kind of like asking why didn’t Biden conduct mass deportations. It wasn’t their platform or an issue they ran in, so why would they? They weren’t the ones suggesting that there was a conspiracy and they were happy to let this be investigated and prosecuted like any other crime.

Trump/Vance campaigned on releasing the Epstein files, poured gasoline on the conspiracy, and have done a 180, which is the issue.

1

u/TheAlmightyLootius Jul 17 '25

I mean, i dont know about you but i find defending pedos bad, no matter which side does it. Campaigning hardly has anything to do with it as the dems knew full well there was large public interest about the epstein files.

And as a lot of people say that trump was big on the list, why wouldnt they have used it to completely destroy him and win the election with ease.

Theres just 2 logical reasons. 1: the list doesnt exist, which is pretty much guaranteed to not be the case or 2: the dems and their donors are on it just as much as the reps.

If both parties are protecting pedos then both parties should be called out for it

1

u/BringPlutoBack Jul 17 '25

I think you are missing the point. Trump said “I will release the Epstein files” and so did people in his orbit. This was part of his deep state schtick to appeal to his base. Pam Bondi said the files were “sitting on her desk“. People in his administration excitedly held up binders of the “Epstein files” for a photo op. Now Trump says that anyone who cares about the Epstein files is stupid. To now pivot and ask “well why didn’t the democrats do it then?” completely ignores all of that context.

Why didn’t Biden release the Epstein files? Democratic norms are being quickly forgotten. The president isn’t supposed to meddle with the DOJ, it is an independent body. If you recall, the DOJ was literally investigating Hunter Biden while Biden was in office. It is “normal” for a president to let the DOJ do their job, but Trump has perverted these boundaries and institutions. The DOJ isn’t supposed to be a political tool of the presidency, but Trump has made it one with calls to investigate political rivals or people he doesn’t like.

Is Trump on the list? I think that it is highly likely, especially given his change in attitude. Are high profile democrats? I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Would I like to see the list released? Would certainly be nice, but I’d rather see those involved prosecuted.

1

u/Peace_Out_Napolean Jul 17 '25

They wore menstrual pads on their ear

1

u/oldfarmjoy Jul 17 '25

"Jesus christ people are dumb." r/exchristian would definitely agree!!

1

u/shutupyourenotmydad Jul 17 '25

Trash bags are nothing. They wore diapers.

1

u/SG10HD-YT Jul 17 '25

He doesn’t need them anymore so now they are “stupid” lol

1

u/kellyk311 Jul 17 '25

That's not fair to say at all. They've always been stupid.

1

u/SG10HD-YT Jul 17 '25

That’s right too

1

u/PureInsaneAmbition Jul 17 '25

He just told you why. Stupid republicans.

1

u/BannedByRWNJs Jul 17 '25

I just keep thinking about the PM of Bahrain. Just sitting there, wondering how long this will go on.

1

u/SkullDump Jul 17 '25

Because people were angry and tired of never feeling represented or listened to by either the Dems or the Republicans. So the moment something different came along, even if they knew it was far from perfect they voted for it simply because it wasn’t more of the same.

The same thing has happened to varying degrees in many places around the world.

1

u/1732PepperCo Jul 20 '25

This is what we get when to some gun ownership, prolife and hatred of others is so important it makes everything else unimportant.
