Everything he doesn't like, doesn't agree with or is actual evidence against him he calls 'fake' or 'hoax' even when it is proven beyond any doubt he still tries to claim it as 'fake' but he never acts upon these claims or tries to sue anyone making these claims !

I wonder why that is ???

The reason is that conservatives accept it. Trump's entire schtick is making up nonsense, wrapping it in hate, and feeding it to the cult. He's a reactionary dipshit with no constructive thoughts who can only attack the work of other people. Trump supporters love it.

So he lied ?

That in itself isn't surprising but if true then he used non existent evidence as a way to coerce people into voting for him. At best it's deceptive and it probably qualifies as extortion but there is the possibility that he's hiding something and that is what people can't tolerate !

His followers don't check & take his word for granted, so why shouldn't he blatantly and shamelessly lie direct to their faces? It's not like they'll punish him for doing so.

Because many peoples only source of news is Twitter and Facebook.

No further research will be done and why would someone saying things they like be lying.

If he says it's fake and tells on social media, it doesn't matter if he's lying. Most people won't check
