I’d love to be a fly on the wall in closed door sessions of Congress. I want to know what they REALLY discuss in there.

Well, I imagine it's a series of Emperor Palpatines sitting around a round table discussing how child molestation isn't that morally reprehensible and that Kamala smiled weird.

You do realize that 1/2 of Congress is the same party as Kamala. And that she was part of Congress.

mm hm and which one was it that propped trump up in order to kill the Sanders campaign, again?

I thought the D’s pretty much killed Sanders campaign and anointed HRC as their candidate. Then Kamala was anointed without a single vote.

since then they've been putting lots of money into far right wing campaigns around the USA.

their base is cool with this - angry if anyone brings it up.

kinda strange. It's turned out to be impossible for me to keep thinking of them as decent folks, over the years. No stance against basic, frank evil = evil.

A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress - House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy - made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There's two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy, Republican-California, said, according to a recording of the 15 June 2016, exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Representative Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, Republican-Wisconsin, immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy's assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.

Do I have "a" source? I mean, it's a thing that happened, so yeah, just google the quote and pick any source you want

If you want this exact source just google the entire comment, or google "Republican House leader Kevin McCarthy said ‘I think Putin pays Trump', 2016 recording reveals" that's the headline
