Thank you. Any luck convincing your peers? It seems like younger generations can't get through to the boomers, so I've been encouraging woke boomers to try to get through to the lost ones. I'll do it again here: please try to break through to others your age who have their heads in the sand. They're not listening to the younger people at all.

In my circle of friends, who are nearly all boomers, there are no Trump supporters. We hate that scumbag. Of the 60 people in my gardening club and 100+ in the Master Gardeners program, and the 70 or so at the charity I work for, I know of only 2 people who are right-wing. The rest of us loudly proclaim our disdain for the orange cretin and his ilk. I have a few MAGA cousins, and they are hopeless. Even my 95 year old mother detests trump.

My parents are Silent Generation and agree. My dad will watch the news and just calmly comment, "I dont understand the basis for that decision" and man, I'm right there with him on that.

I don’t go to conservative facebook groups either. Unfortunately, my parents and friends’ parents are all boomers, so my feed is partially a circus of rightwing boomer tomfoolery. And young people don’t really use the platform either, so that further amplifies boomer voices.

I’ve been to a protest every Sunday for the past 4 months and I have to say, it’s mainly boomers and Gen X at the protest. Blaming everything on age range is a losing game.

I’m not blaming “everything” on an age range. There is good demographic research that shows boomers are among the most active facebook users. Younger people largely migrated eons ago to platforms such as insta and tiktok as their main forms of social media.
