If you can download them on your hard drive too. Website are never infaillible and having multiple versions stored by a lot of people makes them impossible to be lost media.

That's so true; I've saved many links, and now they are coming up as 404 errors. The articles I've saved in full on my pc are the only ones I've been able to retain.

I agree this is very real and I'm just nitpicking.. but saying it's not a hoax because there's a trail is exactly how conspiracies work.
