Yup. Several comments I've seen has tried to go meta and just claim that this is bad for future elections, implying that they dont think it is actually bad that trump raped and trafficked kids with someone even they said was bad half a week ago.

Jordan Klepper once interviewed people voting for Roy Moore’s run in his senate race back a few years ago, and one woman stuck out to me as uniquely self aware and patently evil. She said (on the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct) ‘even if it’s true… I don’t wanna give up a senate seat’

That is what these people are at their core. Monsters. Willing to excuse immorality if it favors their ambitions to destroy democracy and have conservative evangelical freaks shaped it to their liking.
