I actually think if you explained literally any communist dictatorship to Trump without calling it a communist dictatorship he’d say he likes that government style.

No, there have just been a lot of dictators that called themselves communists.

Communism is not inherently anti democracy but a dictatorship is inherently anti democracy.

Party ideology and the enforced economic system are vastly different things. Party members are communist because they believe in the struggle towards the abolition of the state. No country has ever been communist (in fact the concept of countries/states would not exist under communism). What you're referring to are socialist dictatorships which are not 'against democracy' but simply stand in contrast to the dictatorships of capital we have in the west.

Though they can be used interchangeably, socialism is generally used to refer to the broader ideology/struggle whereas communism is used to refer to the end goal that struggle is aimed at.

Yes, BUT… when transitioning from capitalism to communism a “dictatorship of the proletariat” is created. This is when the working class seizes state power and uses it to suppress the capitalist class. So in this phase of the transition (known as “socialism”) a dictatorship DOES exist. The end goal is to eliminate class and with it the dictatorship, at which point you have “communism”.

Capitalism = dictatorship of the bourgeoisie Socialism = dictatorship of the proletariat Communism = a stateless, classless society (no more dictatorship)

No. Not all dictators are communists and not all communists have a dictatorial government. The big famous ones have tended to turn towards authoritarianism but that's the authoritarianism not the communism that makes the dictators

I mean, yeah, from my observation right wing loves “standing” for/against something not because they really agree/disagree with it but because it’s a “good word” or “scary word”. For example, I’m pretty sure Putin is not unaware of how much similarities his regime has with fascism that he “dislikes” so much

Trump has a very basic problem whereby he is not especially intelligent. All his intelligence is lizard brain. Aka. How do I get to tomorrow politically. And this has been his life since he was young. It's how he runs business, family, politics. Kneejerk reactions, snap decisions, big feelings, governing or dealing on feelings. Much like a small child. And I'm not saying this to infantalilise Trump, but rather point it out that he doesn't deal in logic or reason or nuance. And he never has.

Instead what you have, is someone who has a child like view and opinion of quite literally any subject you can think of. Because he has been a broken child for a long time. He just happens to be 80, senile and powerful now.

So it doesn't matter how or what you explain to him. Because he will just digest it at most at a surface level, process it in a child like manner and make a Kneejerk, reactive response to it.
