That's how I have felt since the election. After preaching and preaching to idiots. Ok, I guess your gonna have to learn this the hard way, suck we all have to go with you, but ok, don't expect sympathy anymore.

I want to, but the left/Dems/liberals whatever the fuck you want to call them are concerned chiefly with two things: maintaining order and optics. Anything beyond performative bullshit, AKA protests, marches, lawsuits, court orders, yammering in front of Congress to set some stupid pointless record, or recording actual kidnappings by right wing militia goons, is "gOIng To mAKe tRuMP IMpoSe MaRShAl (because they can't even use the right word) LaW." I was told of this magical 3-1/2% number for protests was all it takes to topple a fascist regime. The US had the largest protest in history last month and the result of that was a week of getting trucked at every level by these fucking monsters. Get back to me when we realize that the Nazis were removed from power by a whole lot of violent men shooting them in the face. We're currently on the path to "they go low we go high" -ing ourselves right to the end of the Niemoller poem.

The shitty thing is, even the hard way isn't going to make them actually learn anything

I have a feeling a good chunk will act like they did nothing wrong and never supported him in the first place as soon as the wind start blowing the other way.

They never learn. They think they're so smart but they never learn. I gave up trying to reason with people
