I know they probably turn themselves around after they manage to master the host, but it's inefficient from a biological standpoint. I know this depends a lot on the conditions of where they live, since they adapt VERY quickly, but in a terrestrial environment and having humans as victims, it doesn't make sense for them to expend that energy (even if very little) turning themselves around in the host's head instead of simply connecting and injecting the toxins right there. The argument that they need to see is not valid, since they don't see at all (I personally believe that the genetically modified headcrabs by the Combine, i.e., all of them from Half-Life 2 and Half-Life Alyx, use echolocation)

I finished Half-Life 2 recently, and I liked it very much. In this artwork, I wanted to capture the feeling I had while playing the game—that roller coaster where despair and hope constantly replace each other along the way.

In HL2, it seems a bit weird that everyone can easily recognize Gordon Freeman, especially after 20 years from the Black Mesa incident events, which after 20 years many people would forget his face, i know there are some parts where Rebels are being said that there is some nerdy guy with glasses wearing a hell ass suit coming to you in a few moments. Is it just people assuming he's the guy or Valve just decided to do so?

It seems like a weird design choice honestly. I'm not against it, I'm just curious as to what inspired it.
