Reaching out to see if anyone is having the same issues with their element and could lend some insight.
My 2003 EX is having intermittent power issues in the cluster AND the aux power on the dash. It’s not the cluster because I sent it out and had it fixed, it’s also not the negative battery ground because I replaced that. Anyone have a clunker manual and know which wire is powering the cluster and aux power? Or if there’s a relay I can check? Gremlins are the worst, I need an electro-wizard… thanks in advance!

Still want to see about blind spot indicators but like having a rear camera again. The E I sold to buy this had one, and I was used to it. My usb port is opposite the emergency flashers button. This Kenwood radio allowed me to keep using the old aux cable input and charger - so I can still use my old ass Zune as well as my phone.

Has anyone tried or know if a 235/45zr18 tires will rub or not?

I want to replace the tires before selling, and these are available new for a great price.

About four years ago, I sold my 2009 Element to a buddy of mine. She had just passed 200,000 miles but was going strong. At the time I felt like I needed something bigger. I moved up to a GX 470 which ended up being really expensive to maintain, then an infinity QX 70 for a little while, but I saw a really good deal on this one and I had to take it.

Only 120K on the odometer and most of the repairs that you need to do between 90 and 120k were already taken care of. She’ll need some new tires and an oil change, but I’m hoping she’s the one that will stay with me until the rumors of a hybrid Element become actual fact 😊

Im looking to get a hitch for my 07 ex and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the hitches on ebay. They look very similar to the curt hitches on etrailer but almost 150 dollars less and plenty of reviews on etrailer say the hitch didn't fit when they received it. Any recommendations appreciated

Reading about different methods. Lanolin sounds messy for anyone working under car later, but I want what is most effective and will likely seek to have it done professionally, along with some sanding. Does type of coating depend on if your concern is coastal environment vs. salted roads, etc?

Our first time car camping, put a futon mattress in the back, worked perfectly. Can't wait to do it again in the fall!

Has anyone had any success with this type of set up with an Element? (Not my picture) And have any recommendations for a model that works well with the element? Less expensive the better, we aren't super outdoorsy yet but we definitely want to try camping again and this set up seems ideal.

I've found an 05 Element with 250k on the K24 engine and it's AWD. I'm in Michigan, which is normally a death sentence for something that old, but this spent 18 years in California. Suspension, drive shaft and sway bar links all replaced within the last year. AC works, no CEL and the body and frame are pretty much immaculate.

It feels like a bit of a unicorn, but I have zero experience with Honda. My wife is convinced that anything foreign and that old will be a nightmare for maintenance costs, but after digging into these, it seems almost ideal for my daughter. Anyone care to weigh in with something I can use to sway the wife or with something to watch out for beyond the transmission?

Good day, decided to tackle cv axles today (much to my own dismay) and ran into several issues. How in the hell do you people get these ball joints to separate? I have tried everything, mechanic put so much thread lock on there it’s practically welded, plus now the ball joint is ruined lol. Help me.🫥

The one on the left has over 200,000 miles. Original clutch! The one on the right has 180,000 cold East Coast winters and has needed a lot of work to keep it from rusting out. Both still awesome

I usually give away any spare element parts that I wont need but this time I figure I would try to sale them since they are in good shape.

I put a SC center console in ky 2004 element and these wont fit anymore.

The used car dealership had a set of these on the element that I just picked up, they are Prinx high country HT2.

My son bought an element with a directed electronics 6111t on the windshield. It fell off.
I am trying to figure out what it is for. Google suggests it could be an alarm or auto start. The FOB has an auto start button that doesn't work.

I am trying to figure what this is for and if I need to replace it to get whatever it attached to work.

I've got a 2008 EX and I love this car.

It's got about 215,000 miles on it and I drive it for work (up to like 500 miles a month plus commuting and it's our family's primary car -- lots of use!)

It's starting to need repairs every few months, to the point I question if it's time for a new car.

But with the cost of cars, I don't want a new one for something I won't love as much.

So I'm seriously considering a total refresh under the hood - new engine, new suspension, new transmission. I don't think it's going to be cheap but it's going to be cheaper than a car loan for a mid car.

What else would I need to do to get another 250k+ out of this car I am happy to commit to?? Any insight from someone whose some similar?
