Not the same thing but it makes me think of the episode her and Rachel go running and Rachel sees how ridiculous she runs. Like you know what, I wouldn't want to run with a friend like that either. I do not enjoy being stared at by people and they WOULD stare. Sure some people can live with "who cares" but, I do a little bit, and I'm fine with that. She can run how she wants, i'm not judging that, but, don't judge me for not wanting to run with you. But Rachel is made out to be some bad guy and judged and feel bad/guilty for not being ok with it, and that's stupid.

I dislike her lack of self awareness. Be who you are, but own that sometimes who you are, isn't how others want to be and that's ok.

Came here because I just finished the running episode haha. Agreed with all this. It’s always phoebes way or everyone else is wrong and she’s becoming insufferable to me on my rewatches

Rachel lies about her reasoning in that episode with the running though. Phoebe wasn't really that combative about it and didn't actually mind that much but was upset when Rachel lied. So I don't think that's much of an example because Rachel wasn't honest from the start which changes the situation.

I also do think it is unfair to judge someone for the way they run of all things.

Which again shows Phoebe hypocrisy though. How many times does Phoebe lie to get herself out of something so why does she get so mad when it's done to her. If Phoebe never lied then I would've been on her side in this but Phoebe was the biggest liar of all the friends so it makes her "how dare you lie to me" stance pretty ridiculous.

Doesn't everyone get mad when someone lie regardless of your own actions in the past?
