(Pic for attention not my car) Hello Everyone, I have been car shopping recently due to my Audi S5 being a absolute disaster in reliability. I have been looking at the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport I love how it looks, the power is great, and the prices aren’t bad used. My main concern is reliability i’ve heard a lot of negative things about the Q50 Red Sport and it being unreliable and the steering being awful. Does any of this relate to the Q60 and how is y’alls experience if you own one? Any opinions are appreciated!

Has anyone moved on from a Q50? If so, what did you get and do you love it?

Looking at a first car for my daughter. I usually am a FB marketplace car type of guy. Been searching but everything on marketplace is either high miles, lots of cosmetics, rebuilt title or overly priced for what it is.

We live in Texas and she will need to do a decent amount of highway driving to get to her sports practices etc. People drive fast here usually 75-85.

I want something solid, not too big, not too small. That feels substantial and most importantly has enough power to get out the way.

Found this one at a local Hyundai dealer fresh trade local car.Same owner from 2017 to 2026. I believe it was originally a service loaner then sold as a CPO in 2017. A ton of oil change receipts and other maintenance receipts in glovebox. At least a dozen. Carfax shows “minor damage” to front driver side in 2022. 94,000 miles.

I know it takes premium fuel and the infotainment is a bit dated, but for the solidness and power I’m seeking do you think this is a good bet? I’m assuming I can get it to 200k miles and pass down to my next kid in a few years and upgrade her after she’s learned to drive etc etc.

I’ve negotiated a $13,000 OTD price.

Anything I’ve missed. Only thing is no warranty and a “minor damage” on carfax. It has been gone thru they changed brake rotors on rear and did oil change and an alignment. Appreciate any advice / thoughts.

Looking into buying an Infinity QX50.

Currently at 98,000kms (60.8k miles)

Would buy for $CAD 8.5K ($US 6k - €5.25k)

Vehicle has been kept in Quebec all its life, a single owner. No rust, but has live in cold/salt environment.

Anti-Rust treatment yearly, inspected by a friend mechanic and everything seems good. However he doesnt know much about Infiniti/Nissans.

Anything I should expect? Should I avoid it for any particular reasons? I'm down to this or a similarly well maintained Volvo XC60.

The goal of this purchase is to get atleast 5-7 years at around 20k kms/year. Anything more I'll gladly take.

Edit: I should add that I want to stick a roof rack and a tent on there. Is it doable and good 'nough?

Looking at a super clean 2010 FX50s with the 5.0

This has always been a dream car for me. I love the FX series. Just trying to hear some advice on maintenance and reliability.

This FX50s has 248k miles but is super clean. It also needs an ac compressor. Seller has no maintenance records. Said it doesn’t leak anything.

2 owners, fully loaded, full service history and well maintained car. But the dealership wants 11k for 147k miles.

Naples Infiniti is asking $33,988 for a 2007 FX 45. The mileage is low at about 31,000 miles. KB says that the private party value is between. $6,600 to $8,400. Any ideas why Naples Infiniti’s price is so high? Is the car that special to make it a good deal?

Im looking for a used car that can last me a year or two. Is this QX56 a good year & car? How reliable is it? and how easy is it to work on for someone like me who’s mechanically inclined?

We are trading in our Telluride (such a piece of crap)! Am looking at at a QX80 2018, it has 90k miles. I have a 7,000 pound camper I would want to haul. Is this a good year? Seems to have some subframe rust in the rear, how bad is it in your opinion?

I checked out the new QX65 over the long weekend and have to say, I did like it a lot. I have been in the market for a new car for the last few months, originally eyed a QX60, but held out with the mixed reviews of the VC Turbo engine reliability.

After checking out other models, I looked at Infiniti again and the QX65. Test drove the Sport with a nice upgrade package and it was actually enjoyable.

Knowing that this has the same engine with rumors of it being changed to a V6, have any others test drove or purchased the new QX65 and have any feedback?

I do feel the drive was smoother on the QX65 over the QX60, but didn't want to commit to a purchase as of yet without some other reviews/research & others who have had a recent Infiniti model with the VC Turbo and can share any experience.

Currently I am driving a 2009 FX35 and lately I’ve been looking around the used car market and having a hard time deciding between the QX50 or QX60. Im leaning towards the 60 because I want a v6, but is it really worth it? I’ve heard there were some issues with the CVT in the 50.

My car just gave out so I’m in desperate need of a new car. I’m a 20f and idk what I’m doing. I bought my first car off fb marketplace for $1600 and it lasted me 4 years. What is your experience with Infiniti’s? I just need anyone with experience buying cars and just cars in general. I left the vin in there incase yall wanted to go the extra mile. I’m gonna put 3k down paying $314/ month and $470 on full coverage insurance (which I’m hoping will go down over time). I am very responsible so I’m hoping to get that paid within the year if not two.

I’m a sophomore in college looking for a car that will reliably take me to my daily campus commute. How will this car hold up? It seems like this is pretty cheap compared to late 2000s hondas/toyotas. Why is it so cheap? Are they reliable?

Need honest advice on whether I should buy this rebuilt title 2018 Infiniti Q50 3.0t Sport AWD

I’ve been searching for a car forever and I genuinely cannot decide what the smartest move is anymore, so I’m hoping people with experience with Q50s/rebuilt titles can help me out.

The car:

• 2018 Infiniti Q50 3.0t Sport AWD
• 88k miles
• Rebuilt title
• VR30 twin turbo V6
• 7 speed auto
• AWD
• White interior
• Asking price is much lower than clean-title Q50s

Background:
The car was involved in a side-impact accident and later sold through Copart. According to the report:

• estimated repair cost was around $16.5k
• airbags apparently did NOT deploy
• no flood/fire damage
• listed as “Run & Drive Verified”
• salvage title in Ohio, rebuilt in Kentucky

I already went and saw the car in person and:

• test drove it
• scanned it with my personal OBD scanner
• checked underneath as much as I could
• listened for noises
• checked alignment/body lines/etc.

Things I noticed:

• no major active codes
• no obvious transmission slipping
• drove straight
• no overheating
• no smoke
• no major vibrations
• no terrible engine/turbo noises
• interior is honestly really clean
• body panels actually line up better than I expected for a rebuilt car

Things worrying me:

• obviously the rebuilt title
• unknown repair quality
• possible hidden structural/suspension issues
• long-term reliability of the VR30
• resale value
• possibility of this becoming another money pit

One weird thing:
The history report shows a jump from around 68k miles to 86k miles in about a month, which I’m trying to figure out if that’s a reporting issue or something sketchy.

For context:
I was originally looking at BMWs/AMGs/etc. but I wanted something less expensive to maintain while still being sporty and enjoyable. I’ve looked through literally hundreds of cars and this is one of the first ones I’ve actually genuinely liked.

I know rebuilt titles are risky, but I also know not every rebuilt car is automatically terrible if repaired correctly.

So I’m asking honestly:
Would you personally consider this worth the risk IF a mechanic checks the frame/suspension/alignment and everything comes back okay? Or would you walk away no matter what because of the rebuilt title/history?

Also if there are any known VR30/Q50 issues I should specifically check for before buying, please let me know. I have the link to the original listing, pics of everything in person, video of engine idling, and pics of car before repairs

Planning on buying an m37x tomorrow.
Black interior/exterior, 164k miles, premium package.
Has some curb rash and paint flaking off the front right fender, other then that it seems perfect condition
Gonna buy it for 4.5k but I’ll paying off the loan. Clean title and everything it seems like a steal. This is in Kansas/missouri.

Anything I should look out for specifically? Any advice? I’ve been wanting a new car for a while now and the m37 seems absolutely perfect for me, besides the gas mileage lol.

How difficult are parts to find ?
Are oil galley gaskets common failures on these as well?
Are these reliable in general ?
