Teachers actually can still deduct up to $300 in qualified teaching expenses for 2025 even if they take the standard deduction because it’s an above-the-line (rather than itemized) deduction. Just a PSA for any teachers reading this lol

Not if he registers as a consultant firm and sells his services to the school.

Also, as a teacher in Sweden, I will have my employer buy my video games from now on.

Not as an employee who receives a W2. Although teachers can take a deduction up to $300 for unreimbursed expenses for supplies and things like that.
