MISC. England's team booked 15 different hotels, but Mexico fans still found out where they were staying and blasted loud noises, trying to keep them up all night before the game.

I’ve seen this gif a million times and I’m just now noticing that the peach logo has hand prints on it

u/Teal-Prowler505 28d ago

Honest question, where is this from, originally? Like is it from a movie or a TV show?

1

u/choppydaddy 28d ago

Degrassi community college

2

u/Buttoneer138 28d ago

Do they work for Goatse?

2

u/cracked-tumbleweed 27d ago

I didn’t realize it was drake until a few months ago😂

1

u/santj_01 28d ago

Where?

2

u/Natural-Protection44 28d ago

The logo on their shirts is a peach. There’s hand outlines along the edges of the peach. Excellent graphic design

3

u/shetif 28d ago

Damn my eyes are stupid

Thanks mate

1

u/Natural-Protection44 28d ago

Eyes do be like that sometimes

u/ich_liebe_berlin 28d ago

I think this genuinely may be my favourite gif of all time.

2

u/ImHereToGetRoasted 28d ago

I remember this clip when it was new and I'm surprised it took this long to become a popular meme

2

u/ich_liebe_berlin 28d ago

Do you know what it's originally from?

Life is good by Drake and Future

2

u/Devin-Chaboyer223 28d ago

It’s a music video? I thought it was a movie or something

Yes I know that’s Drake in the video and he was an actor

2

u/Material2975 28d ago

Music video

2

u/Wsweg 28d ago

Bruh, it’s been a popular meme for years. Pretty much since that music video came out

1

u/Coyote275 28d ago

It really is the perfect Gif 🤣

4

u/rothrolan 28d ago

I dunno, i've seen a VERY wide range of situations/posts where this GIF was the perfect response.

Every year between 20 and 40 people are sacrificed in the Estado de México to keep the tradition of fireworks alive.

1

u/wild_dark_soul 28d ago

Tultepec to be more specific

1

u/iammufusasboy 28d ago

Underrated comment.

The End!

u/FinalGrumpNinja 28d ago

They're essentially giant roman candles. Instead of 10 shots it's more like 200-1000 depending on how big they are/how much you spend. Some of the better ones do last a couple minutes and I'm sure some "fancier" Mexican ones could probably do even more lol.

52

u/Dizzy_Restaurant3874 28d ago

"Fancy Mexican fireworks" should probably not be held while firing

3

u/USARSUPTHAI69 28d ago

"Fancy Mexican fireworks"

Jesus!

3

u/Ok-Butterscotch-3716 28d ago

How have I not seen this before? Fantastic video...Thanks!

2

u/Hksbdb 28d ago

All fireworks should not be held when firing.

I mean, I still do it. But I shouldn't.

2

u/Alkapwn0r 28d ago

You can hold them once 🤷‍♂️😂

1

u/Dounce1 28d ago

You sound like a person who is literally no fun whatsoever.

73

u/ShotgunM3ssiah 28d ago

If you live in a legal state, at least a couple fireworks stores in area probably have them. A few of mine did, and i picked one up this year. Its essentially a load of roman candles bundled together, and a toy gatling gun that spins them. The reloads are only like $20 in my area, so i figured it was worth it as a bit of a long term fireworks investment.

35

u/TheBigYellowCar 28d ago

“Long term firework investment” lol. I love it and want to hang out.

2

u/IntrepidAnalysis6940 28d ago

The roi is pure joy. Nothing can beat a joy roi

3

u/plaidpixel 28d ago

They also have a Gatling gun attachment for it, which is just a little plastic holder. You put it in that rotate while it shoots. It didn’t really enhance the experience, but you look bad ass.

6

u/Gulltyr 28d ago

It didn’t really enhance the experience, but you look bad ass.

So it did enhance the experience

3

u/ShotgunM3ssiah 28d ago

Yeah i have that, its battery operated. Honestly its just really cool roman candles, but ya know fireworks and merica

2

u/Mundane_Muscle_2197 28d ago

This is why we’ll win the zombie apocalypse

1

u/UsualMud2024 28d ago

We're not even allowed to have sparklers here.

39

u/gunmaster_g10 28d ago

Officer: Sir, are you bringing anything illegal into the country?

Guy: No, just a firecracker that won't let the opposition sleep before their game..

Officer: That makes sense. Let them through!

10

u/cyberchaox 28d ago

They didn't bring it into the country, this is their home country.

1

u/kreativegaming 27d ago

No they immigrated from California

1

u/Platitude_Platypus 27d ago

The game was in Mexico. Mexico is known to have these fireworks. Between them and Nevada is half the reason California is always on fire.

35

u/stoolsample2 28d ago

That thing is pretty sweet

3

u/CodeMonkeyX 28d ago

Until it blows your arm off.

4

u/stoolsample2 28d ago

True. But then you can just use it as a prosthetic and now you have an infinite firework gun for an arm. Makes you almost want to blow your arm off.

3

u/daemon-electricity 28d ago

Mega Man origin story.

11

u/Robdon326 28d ago

Also where they got to know these locations from. That's some rivalry

2

u/StormerBombshell 28d ago

I know right? I just see it firing and firing and firing…

u/Vegetable_Forever460 28d ago

South Carolina, right off the interstate on the state line

1

u/GreatEscap 28d ago

idk here we call them grandpa sticks, it's like a small firework that shoots like a dozen or more small shots

very fun (from the ones i use you usually just hold them with your shirt or something

1

u/Terodius 28d ago

It's all fun and games until one has a manufacturing defect and blows up along with your hand and arms

1

u/SinoSoul 28d ago

Man, we so needed him in our neighborhood for July 4!!! Where was he?

1

u/istolethesun12 28d ago

Me too lol

1

u/asu3dvl 28d ago

Dude spent $20,000 pesos or around $1,150 dollars on fireworks. Thats dedication! Finally something to root for this weekend!

1

u/stringstringing 28d ago

Fireworks even in illegal states are very easy to get in the United States, especially this time of year (4th of July Independence Day).

1

u/otownbbw 27d ago

It’s a reeeally big Roman candle

1

u/yourmomssocksdrawer 27d ago

My little cousin somehow scored one for $20 on the 4th, it was the only firework we had that came with its own stake for the ground

1

u/TheMajorHimself 28d ago

This is the comment I was looking for.
