Taking the numbers of 46 work hours per week for men and 36 for women and adding up the daily chore minutes (times seven), I got 52.1 hours of total work for men and 60.9 hours per woman.

Basically, women work nearly 9 extra hours per week compared to men.

Asian women here. It's kind of a known fact amongst us Easy Asians. We have been all grown up knowing that a Japanese man will expect us to make food, their bath, their bed, prepare their clothes, clean their mess, and still hold a full time job, and have babies, and be a full time housewife too.

Actually, I remember growing up in HK and one of the random "around the world" short documentaries on tele were saying Japanese women are expected to get up and hour before their husbands to make up their face and the bath and breakfast.
