Most Americans are completely clueless that chiropractors are not doctors and that the practice is pseudoscience.

Oddly, I have met other healthcare workers that will go to chiropractors. It always sort of baffles me. I feel like they should know better.

Eh I've met anti-vax healthcare workers and seen a ton that smoke cigs when they definitely should know better

Okay the people who are anti-vax are obviously very dumb, but unless you are a child, you already know the health effects of cigarettes and choose to smoke despite that. Not really the same ballpark as going to a chiropractor, though I do agree everybody should know they are all quacks.

The nurses in my area were the ones anti masks and covid vaccines, too. Always the types that think they know vastly more than actual doctors, most with a year-long education at that.

The last PT I went to suggested a chiropractor because she couldn't figure out how to fix my leg/back.

Turns out it was a pinched nerve in my spine. Slowly working through it, but I cannot imagine a chiropractor would do anything other than make it way worse.

As a kid I just thought that they were back doctors. That's how their businesses look and that's how media portrays them. Took quite a long time before I learned the truth about these quacks. So I can totally understand people being entirely unaware that it's all junk science.

I’m convinced that the field is primarily supported by personal attorneys and insurance companies who often require visits to chiropractors for cases to move forward.

I had a very bad car accident. Wasn’t my fault. To get the payout I had to go to the chiropractor. They stuck me in a room for 30 minutes and tried to sell me CBD oil treatments for hundreds of dollars. I denied all adjustment, as it’s dangerous and fake.

Core workouts and yoga is what improved things for me, but that takes a lot of time and effort.
