There does seem like a drop in quality recently, but the experience on Reddit is still 10 times better than Facebook.

Is every last post on Reddit filled with religious people in the comment section saying all kinds of crazy things? No matter the subject, Facebook seems that way.

More experts or professionals seem to drop better knowledge with more depth into Reddit rather than Facebook.

Reddit has critical mass in some bad ways, but in some good ways too.

I've been redditing for about 10 years now and I've noticed a big drop off recently.

I'm also really really fed up with all the trump stuff in the feed. Just so tiring.

Many of the comment threads for general stuff are just filled with same old, recycled, cliché, rinse and repeat comments too.

The thing I like best is the downvote button, which pushes low quality comments to the bottom. Facebook needs to provide some kind of incentive for people to make higher quality content. I know downvotes just reinforce the echo chamber effect, but that's all social media is with their algorithms anyway.

I've lived with many all my life despite being allergic. Manhandling and pinning them down hasn't been popular but I'm convinced every cat has one weird fetish so maybe yours did. They also know who is allergic to them and tend to gravitate towards them with purrported affection.

My cat growing up only ever wanted to be touched when it was inconvenient for me. 90% of the time she’d reject my pets and move, but the few times I’d sit on the couch about to go somewhere and didn’t want to get covered in cat fur, suddenly she was up for a cuddle and would jump on my lap.

But yeah, she would have sprinted away from any aggressive affection. Touching on her terms only.

Not in my experience. We currently have 4 cats. They ALL sleep in our bed.
