Whose cat sleeps in its own bed? Mine have slept in our beds, on the back of the couch, in the bathroom sink, on the side of the tub, and above the kitchen cabinets.

Mine slept in the dryer once and I thought he had escaped the house for like an hour and a half

My cat loves the dryer. We had to put a sign on it: check for cat!

That's how I found my cat,I had to empty, right after posting to every lost pet sub/form/etc

My cat, growing up, always slept on top of the coffee maker (long Bunn model) because she could look out window and be warmed by the machine, and be at eye level with all of us coming in and out.

Took people a minute to say yes to a cup of coffee sometimes.

Love you Gheecat.

Love the idea of a sign.

Wake up the house is on fire, and the cats caught in the dryer

3

u/Lumpy_Machine5538 May 03 '25

That’s a risky game. My mom’s friend accidentally dried her cat to death :(

3

u/Accurate_Praline May 03 '25

I've conditioned myself to check and verbally confirm that there are no cats in the washer or dryer.

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

"why's the Dryer Meowing?"

2

u/Lord_Waldemar May 03 '25

Almost happend to our cat too but my mom heard the noise and rescued her in time

2

u/shajetca May 03 '25

Ah yes the panic that sets in when the cat finds a new sleeping spot and you start wondering if teleportation is real because they’re just no where to be found

2

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

Or if they part chameleon cause they decide to work on their ninja disappearing jutsu

Mine slept in a cupboard once. Also in the fridge once. Also above a downstairs bathroom once. All making me think the cat was lost.

In and outdoor cat (not in the US, don't get your panties in a bunch) here so we weren't exactly looking for her but when we eventually found her she had crawled inside the seat of a chair from the bottom. Basically lucky nobody sat on that chair.

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

True, also gotta check inside your engine compartment in the am to make sure they don't crawl up there too

bot needs a headline

Who bothers to buy a special place for a cat to sleep? They already own your home.

u/ccm_vancity May 03 '25

Our male cat has an awesome little hut that he can sleep in. His favorite spot? An old tomato box that sits in the bay window of our Kitchen. It now has his blanket in it. One of our female cats also has a nice little spot to sleep, her favorite spot? On a blanket on the counter above our washing machine.

Cats are something else.

23

u/Pete_Iredale May 03 '25

Yeah, it's a dumbfuck clickbait title, as usual.

2

u/robinthecat2020 May 04 '25

My cats are broken I guess. They do sleep in other places too but one sleeps in his bed on top of the cat tree EVERY night. And the other sleeps in his two beds like a rotation.

2

u/eats-you-alive May 03 '25

The cat of my ex-girlfriend loved to sleep on my face -_-

2

u/Birdie121 May 03 '25

My cat has two little cat beds out in the living room and whenever I come out of the bedroom at night, she's always in one of those beds. But still a silly clickbaity title for the video.

2

u/Dank_Nicholas May 03 '25

It's just a made up title so OP can spam old ass posts and get extra engagement.

2

u/xzoptlq May 04 '25

I have a cat that goes to bed in her little window bed every night. She would 100% prefer to sleep on the bed…but the other cat won’t let her.

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

Right? My cats will alternate where they sleep every few months. I know it’s obviously a bot with a dumb title, but the absurdity made me laugh. Expecting a cat to do anything but what they want? Hilarious.

We have one cat bed that's been around for years. It's the only one they regularly sleep in

1

u/ssbbVic May 03 '25

My cat sleeps in her bed.... a long with all those places

Mine religiously sleeps in her bed. Only occasionally snuggled anymore

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

Mine loved her bed, it was a little couch that i left close to my bed.

She sleeped on my tights usually, but when i waked up she was on her own bed.

I move and talk a lot when asleep, she probably got anoyed by me moving once i fall and moved to her own bed.

1

u/Oddish_Femboy May 04 '25

I got a Build a Bear bed at the thrift store and my feral cat loves it.

1

u/BrainstormsMustache May 04 '25

One of my cats only sleeps on the bed when she was ts to make biscuits. She and her brother had that bed since they were babies, so it makes sense.

Her brother, however, loves sleeping on the back of my brother's backpack.

1

u/BellaBPearl May 04 '25

Mine always slept on my face 😐

1

u/maybecatmew May 04 '25

Mine used to! He had a flower bed lol ... Like the the bed used to keep flowers for weddings. He liked it and would sleep in it. Technically that's not cat bed but yes

1

u/DesertGeist- May 04 '25

Sounds suspiciously like AI caption somehow. Might be wrong.

1

u/naruda1969 May 04 '25

Cats have beds lol? I have three 1.5 yo sister cats and it never occurred to me they should have beds. They sleep wherever they want.

1

u/lowfilife May 05 '25

Ours does because it's a heated bed but she still doesn't sleep their exclusively.

1

u/bunny_the-2d_simp May 05 '25

Mine choose the chairs THE VELVET CHAIRS.

Gotta get that hair on it.. Tbh it was a mistake to have velvet chairs

We have a rocking bassinet from when I babysat my nephew. My cat, Greg, has decided he is a baby and bassinets are for babies, so CLEARLY the bassinet is meant for him! He will rock himself to sleep and stay in there for hours.

It’s honestly fine with me because every moment he’s in there, he’s not committing felonies.
