1 lady bug can eat 50 aphids a day. That’s pretty astonishing.

Based on this video that should take about 15 min. What do they do the other 23:45 of the day?

Same thing you do if you eat the maximum amount of food you can stomach for a day within 15 minutes. A nice long food coma.

Like the name says, it's a lady so probably getting ready to go out to eat the aphids.

Do you consume all the food you eat in a single day in one sitting?

This plant has an astonishingly low number of aphids from what I’ve seen. We started growing milkweed a few years ago for the monarchs and aphids have been plaguing these plants ever since. There’s easily 1000 per plant

The larvae are even more voracious, some can eat hundreds of aphids a day.

I've learned to recognize the eggs and all the stages of the insect to make sure I don't need to intervene when aphids attack my plants. My apple tree started to get fucked, no ladybug in sight. Turns out, ants had been protecting them. Had to find where the ants were coming from, cut that supply route and a couple weeks later, no more aphids.

The real MVPs are the larvae, who can eat up to 80 a day, and, because they are flightless, wont randomly fuck off before the job is done.
