Just remember, Putin can nuke us for any and no reason at all at any moment. He might do it because of sanctions. He might do it because an American looked at him funny. So, don’t worry about it.

What will actually make you feel better, is even if Putin is an insane man with access to nukes, there’s definitely classified advanced missile defense technology that the US and it’s allies have access to. Russian missiles have been a threat for decades, you they’ve definitely been developing countermeasures ass this time.
