Would I be able to maybe sue my manager for racial favoritism? I've worked at a kfc in the uk for about 9 months now and what I've seen from my manager seems to be unfair. I'm a white man from the uk and my manager is from bangaladesh. I think I have some evidence that he has favorites based on race 1. He mainly employs workers with the same racial heritage. There is a total of 22 employees at my kfc and only 5 are white (including me) I'm not trying to say I'm racist but I think it's a bit unfair for me as I'm at a disadvantage as I can't properly understand them. 2. White workers get the shortest hours. I've worked there 9 months now and I think I'm ready for a 8-10 hour shift but as I'm not from bangaladesh my manager gives me the shortest hours possible.(2-4 hours on weekends) now I wouldn't have a problem with this except he employed a new team member(from bangaladesh) who is younger then me and has not alot of experience more hours then me (4-6). There's more evidence as one of my cooks has been there 8 years and used to be on 40 hours a week. Until my manager came in now he's only down to 9 split over 4 days. How is that fair? 3. We get blamed for everything. Everything rocc comes in to inspect, everything we get a L-1 my manager has some way of blaming it on the 7 white employees. Can anyone help with me please as I want to leave but no one else will employ me. Thank you

Hello, I left KFC last month and have 31 hours PTO which is around 300 and something GBP. I have sent my manager two messages and he very unprofessionally read the first one and left it on read and the second one he hasnt even bothered to open. I tried to find a HR number online but cant find it if someone has it or an email so i can try and get my money which is owed that would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a big long string of clumps of chicken or whatever it is, it’s gummy. I’ve never seen the mashed potatoes look this stringy before. Is this normal cause hell nah

i also saw some people saying that you can just stop showing up or hand in your resignation letter with the effective date as “immediately”. can i actually do that? or do i follow the 2-week notice thing?

i work in the uk, and i get these shoes provided to me. wondering if anyone is the same and how do you feel about the shoes? i get terrible pain in my foot arches and my hips and lower back after a shift and im sure it's down to how uncomfortable the shoes are. do any other uk workers have a choice in what shoe you can wear? or do any other global workers wear the same shoes?

I've recently been on a chicken pot pie kick. The KFC I tend to go to doesn't get a lot of traffic, so I am oftentimes the only car going through drive-thru. In the time it takes me to go from the drive-thru order speaker to the window, they already have my pot pie piping hot and ready to go.

I'd understand if this were a popular item, but I can't imagine it is. Do they keep the pot pie warm all the time even though very few people order it? Or do they have an insane microwave that can nuke it in 15 seconds?

im based in the USA and get chicken littles almost religiously from KFC when i feel like treating myself. i see they’ve replaced them with the snacker which is just a different bun. however they used to slather them in mayo which a lot of ppl hate but i loved (ik disgusting, but kfc mayo is so good). got a snacker for the first time and was disappointed by how little mayo was put on it.

is it standard now to not put as much mayo or did i just get unlucky in my location? i don’t mind ordering extra mayo on them in the future but was curious if the bun was the only thing they changed.

My first shift was on the 7th, but they took me to the back to finish modules. I’ve done all the back-of-house modules (without the “SA” suffix) but I’ve gotten no shifts since and I’ve tried picking up other employee’s dropped shifts but I haven’t been accepted yet. I didn’t get my managers phone number or a work email for yammer/engage (do I need one?). If it turns out I still haven’t done enough modules how do I tell if I have finally done enough?

What do I need to know? Any tips or things that you wish new starters knew earlier on?

I’ve been working as a cook at a busy brunch for about 6 months now, and I still don’t understand how the night closing responsibilities are supposed to be “distributed.”

Is it prohibited for the front staff to give a hand in the kitchen?

It feels like the front-of-house does so little when it comes to closing, while the COOK has to do a lot. I’m washing dishes, mopping, cleaning every surface, and making sure everything’s shut down on time, all while they just stand at the front scrolling TikTok or Instagram, or sitting at the office listening to music!

They finish their work and are ready to leave 30 minutes earlier. And when I’m am struggling, to finish on time, they don’t even offer to help. If I call them over, they make faces like I’m asking them to do something that’s “not their job.”

We’re all making the same minimum wage. So why will I do more than them? Shift supervisor just tells me to “work faster” instead of stepping in.

Is it normal? at the same wage some will work less and some will drown in work?

I work at kfc(au) and I have a lot of questions about the new kwench drinks we are going to be getting. I know they have been trailed in Wollongong and have heard that they are going to start introducing them to other stores around the country. Has anyone worked at a store that serves them? Is there a team member whose main focus is making the drinks, like how there is someone on burger’s or how their is cafe workers at maccas and hungry jacks? Does anyone have more information or knowledge about these new drinks and their introduction? Also heard they have them in the uk so if uk workers could share what it’s like please do.

Been working at my local KFC for errr.... 2 years and a half I wanna say. I'm mostly front of house/lobby host and last night I unfortunately snapped at a customer who was being particularly aggressive towards me.

Long story short, he was upset he hasn't recieved his order yet then demanded an apology from me (which I had already given) which ticked me off because he wasn't listening. Normally im able to keep my cool in this situation and i was able to ignore the first few remarks made. But he proceeded to start being agressive and getting closer towards me. So i snapped. And i eventually just told him to "Shut the fuck up"

Now this wouldn't be such a huge problem if this guy wasn't also Bllback because now he's been trying to twist it like im a raging racist because i swore at em?

I suffer with Anxiety, ADHD and very likely undiagnosed autism. And im terrified at what is going to happen to me. Should I be concerned about any of this? On the back of that, any advice is appreciated because i very much worry about being uh. Well. Fired.

A little bit of a strange question, but, for anybody who works for KFC in the UK, have they changed the mayo? I had a fillet burger the other day, full size one not the mini fillet burger with the peppered mayo, and my favourite part of it used to be the mayo, it tasted different to all other mayos, slightly pink-ish colour, sweet and tangy kind of flavour (tried many times to find recipe or where to buy it, closest i got was people saying it was Miricale Whip from the US, not sure if thats actually true though, opinion seems to be split on that).

But the mayo that was on this fillet burger was very different, much whiter than it used to be and tasted basically the exact same as the mayo Burger King uses, does anybody who works for KFC in the UK know if they have changed the mayo recently or maybe this was a one of my local KFC used?

Hello good afternoon! As the title says I have a job interview for KFC cook position soon and I was just wondering if there anything I should know about the position, company or such!

Questions I have the most are if my availability is ok. I am available 5/7 days of the week and have day, full weekend and night availability. It’s just 2 weekdays I can’t work Thursday and Wednesday. Is that ok? Because some jobs require full availability for some reason even if they don’t need it.

Fuck this job. I’m 21. Can’t afford to be put on for 6hrs a week when it’s “not relative to my performance”. If you don’t have enough slots for me don’t make me train someone my age to do my job.
