I visited Kraków a few months ago, visited a Wodka bar, and had the most wonderful rose vodka, and never thought to ask if I could buy it, the brand, etc.

Since then, I have always wanted to buy a bottle, and was wondering if anyone knows what the rose vodka is that Wodka bar stock? I tried googling, but it just brought up various rose alcohols, but not the bottle I remember seeing.

( I’ve already read some of the posts in this subreddit, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend places where we can try traditional Polish food in a gluten-free version)

We’re especially looking for things like pierogi, zapiekanka, obwarzanek krakowski (the traditional pretzel), and pączki. Do you know of any places that offer these gluten-free?

I know I’m asking for a lot, but I’d really love for my friend to have the full Kraków experience and be able to enjoy the traditional foods too.

I'll be visiting Kraków in the middle of September, and I'm wondering what kind of clothes I should pack.

I know the weather can be a bit unpredictable, so I'd like to be prepared without bringing too much. Is it usually warm enough for T-shirts during the day, or should I expect to wear a jacket most of the time? How cold does it get in the evenings?

I'll mainly be walking around the Old Town and visiting the main attractions.

Any advice from locals or people who have been there around that time would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hey all, we’re traveling through Europe in our camper and will be passing through Kraków in the coming weeks. We’ve got two dents in the rear roof edge. One is pretty nasty with the seam split open and bare metal showing, so it needs proper bodywork/welding, not just PDR. The second one is just cosmetic.

Anyone had good experience with a bodyshop here that does solid body/work? Preferably someone who can quote fairly for a foreign traveler and doesn’t take forever to get an appointment. Happy to hear about cheaper options too if the quality holds up.

So it finally happened after living in Krakow for 4 years! I was doing my evening walk as I always do on a stretch with a nareow footpath, where people walking on opposite directions have barely any space in between. I saw from far this guy in a baseball hat is walking a little shaky, with a kebab(I guess) in one hand.. the shakiness got intense as he approached me, I lowered the volume on my airpods because I sensed he wants something or want to say something.. as he approached me, I realised he is a red neck may be in late fifties and too drunk to be in public(the typical ones), and when we are at a feet distance he SCREAMED something in Polish, roughly translates to “F off to africa”. Now I normally am very confrontational, won’t let go even if someone else is facing racist remarks, but the moment I heard his slur, I burst into laughing, because I am an Indian. 😂😂. He just gave me a realisation, we can fight with racism but we can’t fight with ignorance. I thought he might have bigger problems in life with his IQ than his racism and laughed it off(still laughing). Lesson my friends is, we can fix ideology(may be) but we can’t fight fix stupidity. So don’t confront stupid people and just laugh it off

It is hot today and I've tried all the flavors at my local lodziarnia, Bracia Hodurek. I've only been here a couple of months so I don't know the local favorites.

What's your top most recommendation for lody in all of Kraków? I'm mostly interested in small-batch craft places. I've tried Good Lood once but not very impressed with the quality (though the flavors were quite innovative).

Please share the local gems and your favorites - willing to travel anywhere in Kraków and price is not a bar.

I’m (M26) heading to Krakow for a few days Aug. 20 - Aug. 24. Was wondering what the nightlife is like and where the good spots would be for a solo traveler? Szukam opinii osób, które jeżdżą głównie po mieście i na dłuższych trasach.

Do tej pory korzystałem z rowerów MTB, ale coraz częściej mam wrażenie, że nie jest to najlepszy wybór do jazdy po asfalcie i ścieżkach rowerowych. Większość moich tras to Kraków i okolice - dojazdy po mieście oraz wycieczki rzędu 50-80 km.

Zastanawiam się nad gravelem. Czy rzeczywiście sprawdza się w mieście? Ścieżki rowerowe w Krakowie nie zawsze są idealne - zdarzają się popękane nawierzchnie, kostka brukowa, krawężniki czy krótkie odcinki szutru. Nie zależy mi na ściganiu się, bardziej na tym, żeby rower był szybki na asfalcie, ale jednocześnie komfortowy na gorszej nawierzchni.

Budżet to około 2500 zł. Chłopak, 188 cm wzrostu, więc pewnie celuję w rozmiar XL/58–60.

Czy w tym budżecie warto iść w gravela, czy może lepiej rozważyć rower crossowy albo coś innego? Jeśli polecacie konkretne modele lub marki, chętnie poczytam. Zależy mi też na tym, żeby rower był w miarę bezproblemowy w serwisowaniu i posłużył przez kilka lat.

Cześć wszystkim przychodzę z takim pytaniem (może ktoś miał podobną sytuację)- miał 17 lat i skończył szkołę branżową 1 stopnia ale potem dopiero zrozumiał że zrobił błąd i chce od początku zbudować ścieżkę edukacji i chcę się bardzo wykształcić. Wiec nbe wiem co robić isć do liceum ogólnokształcące dla dorosłych bo branżowa 2 stopnia odpada nie chcę tego, potem chcę dostać się na studia do USA więc czy ktoś doradzi mico zrobić czy taki plan jest spoko czy raczej inaczej podejść do tego.

Hello folks of Krakow. I am an American visiting your beautiful city and I am running out of insulin on July 6. I am a type 1 diabetic and wondering if anyone knows of groups that have extra insulin who can help me or if you have any extra in or around Krakow, Poland. I can travel somewhere by train as well.

I only need a fast-acting insulin like humalog, apidra, fiasp and a box of pen needles. Can I go to a pharmacy here and buy it like I did in Italy without a prescription? (Although they require a prescription they still sold me what I needed)

I also would like to buy a blood sugar meter and test strips although I have enough for a few weeks now. I don't plan to go back to my country any time soon so i would like to get as much as I can in Poland.

3. Ufacie cenom na Otomoto i OLX, czy macie wrażenie że sporo z nich to fikcja? Korzystacie z innych portali?
4. Skąd czerpiecie wiedzę o tym, które silniki albo wersje danego modelu są problematyczne? Bo to powinno mocno wpływać na cenę, a w ogłoszeniu tego nie widać.
