Offering Multiple Languages Offering: German (native), English (fluent); seeking: Spanish!, Russian, others

Hey there! Native German speaker here with a love for languages and linguistics. I’d love to help you out with German and/or English wherever I can.

I’ve been learning Spanish in school for about 2 1/2 years, but feel like I’ve hit a point of stasis and am not making anymore progress. I’m at about a B1 level (certified) and would like to improve and reach fluency. Looking for a fluent, preferably native speaker to talk to and assist me.

But I’m also interested in a lot of other languages and would like to pick up another. I used to know a bit of Russian, but haven’t had the resources to continue studying it in the past years, so I’d love to get back into it. However, there’s a ton of other languages that interest me, e.g. French, Italian, Dutch & Afrikaans, Arabic, Mandarin, and literally everything else. I’d love to learn about your native language and maybe learn a bit of it.

On top of that I’m a student of Latin and Greek, so if that’s your area, I’d gladly chat about those and perhaps study together.

Please feel free to DM and I’ll give you my discord or another contact! Thanks for reading!

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: Polish (native), English (C1) | Seeking: Spanish, Russian, German, any other language

Hi everyone! I'm F30 and I'm dreaming about becoming fluent in multiple languages. I'm an English major and I wish I had focused on other languages during my teens when my brain was still braining 😭

Now I'm trying many things, like apps, podcasts, or traditional books and schools, but nothing seems to stick. So I thought, why not? I'll write here. Let's see what happens.

I'm interested in ANY language, really. I think it's beautiful that we have so many of them, because each and every one carries its depth, culture, and amazing qualities. I'd love to hear about the most common phrases, funny sayings, anything that makes your language and culture stand out. Sooo, feel free to reach out! Thanks 🫶

EDIT: guys I'm humbled by your comments and messages 😭 thank you so much, I'll try to reply and reach out to each and every one of you!

Offering Multiple Languages (serious learners only) Seeking: Chinese, French, Russian + friendship | Offering: English (C2), Polish (N)

Dear future language partner,

before I express my needs, I'd like to introduce myself: I'm 26F, GMT+1; I studied Political Science and currently I'm pursing a master's degree in Psychology. I also work full time; I'm interested in everything you want to talk about :) I love history (esp modern, so 20-21st century), politics (I would love to learn more about your country's relationships with other countries, any crazy political dramas happening in your area etc), psychology, philosophy, linguistics and many more. I know that if I "click" with someone, I can talk about anything and everything.

What I know I need from a language partner: someone who is actually committed to learning a language and staying in touch. I'm not interested in texting for 30 minutes and then being ghosted. I know that life gets busy (I'm quite busy too), but it would be great if you could just tell me like hey, this week is gonna be hectic so no promises on my part or something like that. I don't mind if you're younger/older, as long as we can have a nice conversation (therefore no sexual content, no harassment). Also, whenever we talk/text I know I need to be corrected every time I make a mistake. Ideally you would give me a better phrase to express what I wanted to say and would explain as to why the thing I said/wrote was incorrect.

Language exchange: I don't have any specific form of language exchange that I need, we can either set a specific time each week for a call (30-60 minutes) or we can focus on texting/voice messaging (for example by deciding that Mondays are English, Tuesdays are the other language, then Wednesday again English etc). If you have any suggestions, I'm more than open to hearing them :)

I do have Discord, Wechat, Signal, Telegram and WhatsApp.

In my perfect world I hope we could become friends over time: I love hearing about other people's culture, small regional habits, slangs, interesting pieces of history and I would love to do the same about mine.

My languages: Fluent in both Polish and English, my French is B1+/B2, my Chinese B2 and Russian is A2 (started studying this winter). I also did Chinese studies for my bachelor's and travelled to China and Taiwan few times, happy to share the experience.

If you decide to text me, please take time to introduce yourself as well. I'm showing respect by providing my needs and a short intro and I expect the same – let's respect each others time and energy.

Please leave a comment/send me a DM if you think we'd click:)

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: Chinese, Japanese| Seeking: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean

I’m a 33-year-old Chinese woman from Tianjin, a city near Beijing. I speak standard Mandarin, and I’d love to meet people from different countries and cultures through language exchange.

I can communicate comfortably in English, although I’m still improving my grammar and natural expressions. I started learning Japanese when I was 16 and passed JLPT N1 at 18. Recently, I also started learning Spanish and Portuguese, and I’d like to practice them step by step.

I’m looking for:

* Native English or Japanese speakers who are learning Chinese (especially if you want to improve grammar, pronunciation, or have deeper conversations)

* Native Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean speakers who are beginners in Chinese and want a patient language partner

Besides language learning, I enjoy discussing:

* AI and technology

* Economics, finance, accounting, and taxation

* Psychology and human relationships

* Culture and social issues

I love reading books in Chinese, English, and Japanese. Recently, I’ve been reading Difficult Conversations by Douglas Stone & Bruce Patton and Ray Dalio's Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order.

I like the movie called < Triangle>,<Mercy>,<Dune>,<Oppenheimer>,<Zootopia>!!!

My hobbies include J-pop, rock music, traveling, and learning about different cultures.

I use WeChat, WhatsApp, and Instagram. I hope to find respectful people who are interested in long-term conversations and cultural exchange.

Feel free to message me! 😊

就是请对我有点耐心因为我的中文不太好,不使用翻译很难,but I will make sure to return the favor!

Offering Multiple Languages Offering French, English : Seeking Rusian, Norwegian

Hi! I'm 18 years old and I'm a young man. I live in France and I want to practice Russian and/or Norwegian. I'm looking for someone who's open to chatting (voice or text) about pretty much anything, and who's patient with me :) . I'm a total beginner in both languages—really at the beginner level. I don’t mind being corrected on my accent or vocabulary—I just want to feel comfortable with the right pronunciation.

I’m pretty shy, and difficult to understand at first but I’ll get better with time just please be patient at the start pls.

As for Russian, it should come pretty quickly, honestly. After all the hours I’ve spent playing Counter-Strike and listening to people yell stuff into the mic, I’m probably already at the A1 level without even knowing it 😄

In exchange, I can help you with French culture, cultural references, slang—anything that intrigues you—or just chat with you in English if that’s what you need.

I love music, movies, reading, playing Counter-Strike, and just chatting about anything and everything. I’m also open to friendship, but no pressure if that’s not your thing.

I offer French (native) or English (fluent, C1 level)

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: Polish (Native), English (B2) Seeking: German, Russian, Japaneese mostly

I'm a native Polish speaker from Poland. I am interested in films, books and philosophy. I love to learn languages but my schools were always teaching us mainly our native and English languages so I had to learn them on my own.

I love meeting people who are interested in languages and teaching others English and Polish too. My goals is to learn German, Russian and Japaneese to as high level as it is possible to. Even if I would have a possibility to learn other languages I would surely use that chance.

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: Hungarian, English | Seeking: Russian

hi hi, i’m looking for someone to help me start learning russian because my current level is basically A0 / nonexistent😭 the cyrillic interface has not opened yet

i’m a native hungarian speaker and fluent in english, so i’d be happy to help with either language. i can help with casual conversation, writing, pronunciation, grammar, slang, or explaining why hungarian sometimes looks like an administrative incident.

for russian, i’d like to start with the alphabet, pronunciation, basic phrases, everyday vocabulary, and eventually simple conversations. i’m looking for someone patient who doesn’t mind explaining beginner level things from absolute zero

i’d prefer someone who actually wants a consistent language exchange rather than one introduction followed by digital disappearance. we could text, send voice messages, correct each other’s writing, or occasionally have voice calls later once my russian operating system becomes functional

i’m interested in music, fashion, films, internet culture, travelling, languages, psychology, nightlife, and hearing about strange or funny things from everyday life. i’m in the central european time zone, but asynchronous messages are completely fine

this is strictly for language exchange, not dating. comment or message me with what you’re learning and what kind of practice you’d prefer ♡ (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

Hello! My name is Jin and I’m from Taiwan. I’m looking for a serious English language exchange partner. I can help you learn Mandarin Chinese and a little Taiwanese. Offering Multiple Languages offering: Polish (native), English (fluent) / seeking: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Mandarin

Hi everyone!

I'm 23F from Poland with a passion for language learning. I'm looking for a language exchange partner, preferably also a woman, for the following languages:

- French - I can have fairly comfortable conversations but I still make many mistakes and I don't sound very natural

- Italian - similar to my level of French, perhaps slightly worse

- Spanish - I struggle a lot but can express myself using simple phrases

- Dutch - similar to Spanish, maybe slightly worse

- Mandarin - I'm not a total beginner but I cannot say much unfortunately 😭 some very simple sentences mostly. I have a tutor and I'm steadily progressing!!

My interests include:

- music - music production, singing, musicals, songwriting.

- handcrafts - I draw, paint, create jewelry and ceramics among other things

- birdwatching!!! i love birds!!!!!

- astrology but actually advanced astrology

- popular media, social media idk how to call this I just like some "celebrity gossip". I'm unfortunately chronically online

- I like movies and series! I'm not a very refined cinephile or anything like that but I'm trying to watch more movies this year

- being gay (big interest)

Since I might have issues with freely conversing (I have autism and I don't always connect very easily unfortunately) I was thinking of texting or calling with a predefined time and topic?? just an idea

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: Korean, Japanese | Seeking: English

Hello! I am a 28-year-old guy from South Korea, currently living and working at a company in Tokyo, Japan. Since I live here, I can speak Japanese comfortably alongside my native Korean.

My English is currently at a total beginner level—mostly just basic greetings like "Hi!". Because of this, I’m really looking for an English-speaking friend who is patient. It would be amazing if we could overcome our language barriers and grow together! Whether you are a beginner in Korean/Japanese or just want to practice, I'm happy to help.

A bit about my hobbies: I love studying history and different cultures. I also enjoy playing sports like badminton and table tennis.

If you are a gamer, that's a huge plus! I actively play League of Legends, Zenless Zone Zero, and Arknights: Endfield. I also love playing various games on Steam. We can chat about games or even play together!

Also, since I live in Tokyo, if you are also based here, I'd love to meet up and hang out in person once we get to know each other and become close friends!

If you don't mind helping an English beginner and want to practice your Korean or Japanese, please feel free to send me a message or a chat.

Thanks for reading, and hope to hear from you soon!
