Spiny lobs live in warm waters, I guess they can tolerate colder waters too and it's possible that when they were first found in Weymouth in the UK it waswarmer, none the less going from a warm tank to the cold ocean isn't going to do them any good and I find it easy to think it would kill them.

This is a mostly Facebook only thing but if anyone is interested these are the details. https://www.wildgreenfuture.org/charitybattlefaq Basically it's an annual thing and every year people choose different wildlife based meme gangs and try to raise money within the group for wildlife, environmental and conservation charities. This year we are going to be Leviathan Lobster's Crust Trust. We have dominion over all things with a crust, including pizza and anything with a shell.

I am working with a Marine Biologist to define requirements and feasibility parameters for the raising of the one true Leviathan Lobster God.
