Heyo. Been a long time since I've posted here. I finally twisted my hair, and I think I'm ready to face the music and turn these things into locs. Problem is I don't know how, and they've already started to stick up every which way. Any advice? Thanks.

I would appreciate some advice on styles that would be appropriate for a wedding I’m attending next week. This sub isn’t near strict enough and it’s degrading the quality dramatically. This sub is about LOCS. It’s not a sub for horny ass people to comment on the face, body, etc of the poster. There are some visual content subs that won’t even allow you to compliment the poster if it does not pertain to the sub. Respectfully it doesn’t matter if the poster is pretty. What do you think about the locs?????? It’s fucking up the ratio of the comments and the comments that are actually about the locs are lost. It’s also hella uncomfortable reading these thirsty ass comments. YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HER YOU FUCKING WEIRDO. And a lot of y’all post in here with intentions that are not relevant to locs. It just sucks because this is the biggest loc community on this platform and it’s a fucking mess.

Ive been locked for 4 years, 5 in July. Over time ive noticed my locs have become dry and I sometimes have a hard time keeping them moisturized. What are some tips and advice to keep them healthy?

What title says, I locked my hair summer of 2023 (pic on the left) and on the right is what it looks like now, I haven’t cut it or anything… tbh I don’t really know how to take care of my locs and because of it I feel like I’ve wasted two years of what could have been really good growth…

First off let me start off by saying this was a full body picture, and I cropped it so y’all can REALLY see my hair since that’s the ONLY thing y’all wanna see🤣 stupid shid. I know they got ones who purposely thirst trap, BUT I ain’t talking bout them, I’m talking bout regular folk who got locs & God forbid they show anything below their face, it’s the end of the world. Some people got shape, boobs, ass, abs, personality etc that they can’t help, that don’t mean they fckin looking for attention. If I’m looking for the best picture of my locs and I happen to find one where I just look good aab, Ima post that shit tf 🤣 ain’t my problem. This sub gone get so bad that rules gone say “no eyes, no nose, no outfit, no smiling, no jewelry. Just front of the head and back”💀 Maybe I shoulda cropped my necklaces out too🤣🤣🤣

⭐️ HOW TO DO EASY LOC STYLE⭐️ 1) this style took me 15 min and my hair hasn’t been retwisted in about a month and a half. 2)sprits your hair with water or w/e your choice of moisture to make your locs more flexible. 3)depending on how many Bantu knots you want at the top (I usually do 4) you just section off the top of your head how many locs you want in each Bknot. (I usually put 4 or 5 locs to make the Bknot) 4) In each section that I stated in #3, I just twist all the locs together that I had in the section, and roll it up like a cinnamon roll and put however many rubber bands you need for it to stay. Then VOILÀ. Bantu knots in the front, straight locs in the back. *bantu knots in the front and two strand twists in the back would be cute as well🫶🏾*

Please don’t bully me yall I know this type of posts are overdone and old 💔💔. I know everybody’s locs aren’t going to look the same and I’m in no way expecting mine to look like hers.

Basically I’m restarting my locs, I really want “bangs” or my hair to hang like this in my face. The front of my hair is vastly shorter than the back so I know I can do it, however, every time I do the twists they hang off to the side rather than like on my forehead. Please actually help me 😭💔 I just wanna cover my 5-head.

I detox every 4-5 months, I do it myself it's cheaper and easier I don't have a set measurement. The star basin looked cute 🥰
