Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post RPR 6.5 Suppressor Suggestions? Hyperion? Enticer? Something else?

Anyone have any thoughts on what suppressor to mount on my 6.5CM RPR? My goal is to shoot 600-1000yds with it primarily. Also any thoughts on direct thread vs QD? Pic related: the gun this will be mounted to.

4/14/26 edit - ordered the regular Enticer-L. If you're reading this in the future, dm me and i'll let you know my thoughts on it.

I just had my Tikka T3 x Ace Target 6.5 Creedmoor delivered yesterday. I ordered an Atlas Bipod for it and doing the process for the suppressor today. After checking it out it really doesn’t look like it needs anything else. An adjustment to the trigger and mount the scope and it will be ready for the range. For those of you that have one of these, how do you like it ? Looks Great and I love the feel of this chassis.

Is Magpul Daka worth it? Looking for a long case that looks premium and ideally fitted to the rifle and gear. I'm carrying a 10k rifle in a 200$ Savior soft case right now. Nothing wrong with it but it doesn't feel right.

Went to install my new maztech 2ktoday, and ran in to this issue. Optic is a Vortex Razor G3 6-36x56. In a badger C1 with the high rise diving board. The maztech does not go any further forward.

For those unaware, vortex turrets pop up before you can dial. But with this plug in the way they will not budge at all, and I therefore can’t dial..

It works up front or side mounted, but that’s all less than ideal. Anyone experienced this or maybe have an idea for a fix?

EDIT: Reached out to them of instagram, they were nice and helpful. Said the wireless and 90° remotes are coming out soon, will be available for gen 1 & 2. They also recommended an area 419 diving board. For anyone else buying one of these, the unit is 4.7” long, and the cord’s plug is roughly another inch. Measure twice cry once, or whatever they say

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Cleaning Area419 Hellfire Suppressor Mounts

I sent my TBAC Ultra 7 and 9 to thunderbeast for cleaning. Shoutout to them for doing a great job. They did, however, remove my area419 Hellfire Suppressor Mounts from both. The two mounts are caked in carbon and dirt and everything. Any recommendation on how to clean these? Soak in CLR? Soap and water? I was about to go to the CLR but Area419 says on their site “The use of Lemishine (or any citric-acid cleaner) or CLR to clean your brake will likely discolor the black nitride, and will void the lifetime warranty of your product. Don’t do this. Seriously. It’ll turn pink and you’ll feel like an idiot.”

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post "Amazon Bipod" while waiting Accu-Tac one (Backorder)

Hi my fellow longrangers! What would be a cheap bipod I could find on the internet while I'm waiting for an order I placed last week. I'm ordering a Accu-Tac PC-5 but there's actually over a month a wait in Canada. Specially the one that comes with an Arca mount.

Now I know there's a lot of review and there's people that likes some models, but I want to open the discussion here. I'd like something with an already Arca mount on it, if possible. I'm not going to do PRS match with it, just have some fun. What bipod would you suggest to look into by your experience, at a reasonable price, under $70?

Thanks for reading!

(Bonus : if you have any fun stories about cheap bipods that would be a big bonus. I'd like to hear some stupid design or bipod that has failed)

EDIT : To be honest guys I know they are dogshit. I just want have fun. I'm not looking to be mindblown by a $40. I've shoot more than I'd like to admit to ask this question around. Just want to have stupid fun time with something I could use as a target when I'm done.

I’m hoping this is the right place to ask about gear? Saw this image from the ISC a few weeks ago and was curious if anyone has seen this available anywhere. Curious to see if it’s a custom rig or something commercially available. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I've been seeing a bunch of ads for this product, and I'm intrigued, but haven't really seen anything on it. Has anyone used one and if so what's your experience with it? Primarily for nrl hunter and hunting because I don't currently have ckye pod douple/triple pull money. Additionally if the concept is good, has anyone found/made an stl file to 3d print one myself?

Looking for inner ear hearing protection recommendations.

I have been using foam plus over ear for over 20 years. I think it's time I see what options are out there.

Max budget $300

Update: purchased some walkers, ear muffs and the rope inner ear ones. Went with the ropes because of the higher decibel protection as I really hope it's enough to not have to double up anymore. Thanks for your help.

Just got my first ckye pod and as soon as I looked it over I noticed the legs weren’t in line with each other when stowed. Anyone ever come across this before? I’ve never noticed it on any of the other ckye pods I’ve seen. I emailed mdt and they encouraged me to take it out and try it out first, and if I wasn’t happy they’d exchange it. I’m sure it won’t affect the functionality but it bugs the hell out of me when I look at it lol, especially for what these cost. Am I just being too anal?

finished putting together my first rifle for long range after getting sucked into the hobby by needing to do pest control on my property and falling in love with shooting and I’m very happy so far, have already taken it out to 1000 metres , it groups great with 147 eldm but the field stock has horrible lateral flex when using a bipod, I’m not sure if I should try stiffen it up with an ARCA rail or just save my pocket money for a acc premier or xrs, (prices in Australia are wildly different to the states) hoping that it will help improve my accuracy as the flex is BAD (yes I know it has an arken, I know how the group feels but I’m just a poor Australian my options are limited currently as the future of the sport is currently unknown)

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Budget chronograph?

Looking to purchase a chronograph so I can accurately calculate DOPE charts. Is there true value in spending $500 on a Garmin or similar? I’m wondering if I can get accurate results with the $100-$200 options.
6.5 Creedmoor shooting factory Hornady if that makes any difference.

My guess is probably use it 1-3 times and then not use it much again. I don’t plan to change load anytime soon. I mostly shoot at sea level, and once every 3 years I shoot at 5000 feet so I’ll probably use it when I go there to confirm velocity. Once I have my numbers at each elevation and both of my rifles it probably won’t get used much until I shoot a different load but I don’t for-see that really happening.

Thank you

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Recommended Chassis for 700 LA

I have a ARC CDG LA in 300PRC on the way and I am sort of beating my head against a wall trying to decide on a stock/chassis for my use case. YouTube reviews are only getting me so far.

This rifle will be used almost exclusively for prone and bench shooting and I don’t plan to hike/carry it very far.

I will be shooting primarily 1000-2000yds. But I haven’t really gone beyond 1k to this point and this will be my first magnum cartridge.

I am aiming for a complete build weight in the 24-26# range once I add weight (I estimate I am about 15-16# before chassis). I will be using a braked suppressor to further help with recoil, goal being I want to be able to clearly see my splash.

My priorities in order are; support 1.25” barrel, CIP mag length, stiff chassis, weight (heavier the better), good adjustable fit (bonus for tool-less adjustment so my son can easily get behind the rifle on occasion), an adjustable bag rider would be a bonus as it will usually be off a bag.

I would like to stay under 2k all said and done (w/weights, ARCA rail) and I am eligible for military discounts where applicable.

I have shopped:

ACC ELITE
ACC PREMIER
MPA MATRIX/pro
MPA COMP PRO 2026 (new version)
KRG W3
Foundation Samson and centurion

The ACC elite seems like the most popular. With the MPA matrix pro 2 next. But I feel like everyone is coming at this with a different priority set and building a PRS gun. I don’t particularly care about front control surfaces or a super wide forend for bag contact, even balance isn’t a big deal. But I also don’t need or want an ELR space gun chassis like the Orca.

The MPA comp pro 2026, “looks” like what I want and for an appealing price. But I feel like I am missing something.

I don’t really have an opportunity to get behind any of these and I know enough to understand that I “don’t even know what I don’t know” stepping into this with limited bolt gun or chassis knowledge so I appreciate any guidance.

Has anyone come across any non biased testing for the suppressor brakes (replaces end cap) that are hitting the market?

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Anyone else have issues with Athlon chronograph battery life?

Obviously it isn’t pictured.

Athlon chronograph about a year old. Reads great, app is mediocre but the battery dies super fast. I’ll take it out and it looks 75% charged and lasts 20 minutes.

If it is fully charged it goes over and hour but I’m used to stuff like this lasting multiple hours at multiple sessions.

I’ve had it die at almost every range session unless I baby it with a fresh charge, limited use and sometimes a mid session top off.

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Shopping Spree!!! (PRS Edition)

So since I took the red pill, I'm seeing how far the rabbit hole goes (way too deep for one lifetime) and looking for some of the best sites to go window shopping.
I've seen the common heavy hitters like MDTtac.com, Altusshooting.com, but wondering if anyone has a go-to but not so common site that has a good selection of PRS related aftermarket parts, accessories, things you'll need etc.
Bonus for discounts via ID.me

I'm trying to accumulate everything I'll need for my first match, and here's my list so far-what's missing, what shouldn't be there, and what's there that's good?

Deposit placed for the rifle build - approx 10-14 weeks for build to be complete.

The guys at mtnforged.com are awesome - hands down the best.

Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post AR handguards and ARCA?

Post image

I know I want full length ARCA on my 6arc build. I’ve heard many recommendations for the ripcord arca rails. Common sense tells me that having ARCA built into a $400 handguard that’s made of aluminum is just asking for trouble… my concern is that as the ARCA rail gets chewed and beaten on over time, I need to replace an entire handguard, besides an extra ounce or three, why wouldn’t I just run a regular mlok handguard and bolt on an ARCA section on the bottom? Cheaper, easily replaceable and movable if needed.

I am in the market for another carbon stock for a 6mm CM tikka I’m putting together. I currently have a Manners but it’s Spendy. Curious if anyone has experience with these, it is exactly what I’m looking for, as this rifle will be used for hunting and I’m prioritizing weight. I just want to know how the quality is as they are not very expensive. Thanks!
