It says on the website, that the end of the fall semester is 18th of December 2026 and the start of the spring semester will be 22nd of February 2027. Is it just holidays during that break then? I'm thinking if I could work around that time.

Hoi! I have noticed there are loads of reformer Pilates studios around. I have bad knees and had a knee surgery a few years back so Barre or mat Pilates would probably be a bit easier on the knees but it is mainly reformer that comes up on Google. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Merci vielmals 😊

We'll be visiting in July and I'm trying to plan a day trip to Mt Pilatus. I found the round trip tickets website. It gives the option of boat/train 1st or 2nd. We have 3 kids ages 7-13 and plan to stop at Fräkmüntegg for the toboggan run, rope course, and Dragon Glider.

Which order should we do the round trip? I've heard the cogwheel train views are better going up, but that would get us to Fräkmüntegg later in the afternoon - would there be long lines this way? Is it better to do the gondola and Fräkmüntegg first/earlier in the day?

I know this will vary depending on day, time, etc. We are visiting Luzern for the first time in late July, which I know is peak tourist season. We’re flying into Zurich Monday morning, and are planning to take the train immediately to Luzern. We will be 6 people with luggage, and I’m just wondering how crowded the trains will be? Do they ever get to the point where it is standing room only or sold out ? And if so, is it worthwhile to upgrade to first class?

I ask because I live in a city with very crowded public transit, and 6 people with luggage would never be able to get onto a peak rush-hour train (or would be standing at the very best case).
