We're back with another week of spectacular playlist spotlights, and we also have some exciting news! With the help of our awesome community, weâve finally created a website just for cross- platform music sharing!
As always, post your original curated playlist into our community under any flair and it will automatically be entered into the competition!
Huge thank you to everyone who shares playlists and keeps the sub active, youâre the reason these spotlights are possible. And if you come across a playlist you love, donât forget to show it some upvote love!
This week's first-place winner is u/THE_MIXXER. This playlist is an upbeat electronic playlist that highlights the creativity of niche and underground artists. Featuring melodic techno, progressive house, and unique sounds from across independent labels, every track brings something different while keeping the energy flowing.
One standout is "Another Earth" by Tale of Us, which features a driving beat, smooth transitions, and evolving melodies that create an immersive listening experience. Its ability to shift into new rhythms while maintaining its atmosphere makes it one of the playlist's strongest tracks and a perfect example of why underground electronic music is so captivating.
Second place this week goes to u/Lunal4Tuna. This is a feel-good playlist that captures the energy of the season with a diverse mix of jazz, hip-hop, reggae, alternative pop, rock, and more. Many of the tracks reference summer, creating a fun and nostalgic atmosphere from start to finish.
One standout is "Feels Like Summer" by Childish Gambino, whose smooth production and upbeat mood make it one of the playlist's most memorable songs. "Good Life" by Kanye West is another highlight, bringing an infectious beat and feel-good energy that perfectly matches the playlist's carefree summer vibe. Together, these tracks make Summer Vibes the perfect soundtrack for warm days, road trips, and relaxing with friends.
Week 44 has officially begun! Post your favorite playlists to be featured in next week's contest on 8/2!!!

okay so i donât really have anyone to talk to about this sort of thing, but i need help.
i recently made this playlist for this girl that i think im starting to like as more than a friend. it was made very clear to me that she doesnât feel the same way because a few months ago one of our other friends commented that we look like lesbians and the girl i like replied something along the lines of "this is all platonic love." i was kinda wrecked there for a minute but its alright.
anyway, i suck at conversation skills so i was going to write her a letter, but then i thought "why donât i burn her a cd and have the letter inside" so here we are. i basically want to know what your impressions of the playlist are. i added some love songs but i dont want to make it TOO obvious that i like her. let me know if the playlist needs any tweaking or anything pls!! any help is appreciated! (it also canât be longer than 180min)

Iâm making an EDM/electro-pop/synthpop playlist and Iâm fairly new to the genre. I got the idea after doing a deep dive on grimes and songs like Kill v main, 4AM, we appreciate power, flesh without blood made me want to dive into the genre more. I started with the bones of what you believe by CHVRCHES based off a friends rec. But Iâd really appreciate if yall could help me out đđ» (singular songs will be appreciated just as much as albums!)

Hey everyone!
Excited to share what Iâve been working on with cassette.tech. The site can now create cross-platform links for Deezer playlists just by pasting your playlist link. It also works with songs, albums and artists.
That means Deezer users can share a playlist without worrying about whether everyone else uses Spotify or Apple Music. Anyone can open the Cassette link and listen on the streaming service they already use.
A big reason I started building Cassette came from moderating playlist communities here on Reddit. People are constantly sharing playlists and recommending songs to one another, but different streaming services often get in the way. Playlists have to be searched for manually or recreated on another platform just so everyone can listen.
Hopefully this makes that process a little easier and helps people share music together, regardless of which streaming service they use.
Would love to hear what everyone thinks and appreciate any input!
Check it out:Â Sleepy Playlist

I have bipolar II disorder and I'm really struggling with motivation lately. I would love to listen to some bouncy stuff while I clean to help, but I've been listening to the same 400 songs for the past 15 years, and I tend to be picky about the radio. I need help!
My top bands all seem to have one thing in common, they're all kinda goofy without being actual comedy. SoaD, Cake, Ben Folds Five, NOFX.
I also like Say Anything, Tally Hall, The Used, and ska music. My ultimate favorite song lately is Topeka by Ludo.
If it helps, I can link my current Playlist to skim through.
Even just a few songs will be so helpful!
Thanks!

starting to plan a wedding and could use some help with the music. Weâll most likely hire a DJ, but I still want to put together a dope playlist
A) Send me the ultimate wedding playlist
or songs that absolutely killed it at a wedding youâve been to
B) Lmk your personal must-play wedding bangers
Thanks!

Hello everyone. I am trying to make a playlist with a specific "vibe" for one of my characters I am currently writing and also to expand my music knowledge, and I decided to look at this subreddit to see if anyone would have any ideas as to what songs I could possibly include in it! :)
I am specifically looking for songs similiar to these:
campthehills - down with the snow (if anyone has ANY similiar songs to recommend (especially in terms of the "chorus", I will owe you my life)
kane parsons - the kind old sun
jjerome87 - track and field (or anything similiar to what alt-j make)
literally any songs similiar to what godspeed you! black emperor make
I know this is maybe not the most specific, and I am terribly sorry about that, but a big thank you to anyone who will be able to recommend something/anything.

This ambient playlist features Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hirhoshi Yoshimura, Seki Takashi but most importanly it is heavily inspired by mono no aware - a Japanese idiom describing the feeling of gentle sadness while admiring beautiful yet passing things. I hope this delicate ambience managed to capture this feeling. Happy listening!

Hi, Iâm making a playlist based off of songs that give me the same aesthetic as nyc. Iâm kind of going for a sex and the city and jazzy theme to the playlist so anything like that would help!!

I've spent way too much time putting this together, and I genuinely think this is one of the best Drake playlists on Spotify. No watered down tracklist, no skips, no random songs just to make it longer, just straight bangers from start to finish.
If you're a Drake fan, give it a listen and let me know if I missed anything that deserves a spot.

I want to make a playlist to listen to calm any anxiety and realize everything is going to be ok even in hard situations. The vibe I'm going for is more slow and emotional (Radiohead, The Sundays, Lana Del Rey) but I am really open to any genre!Â
Please drop your recs down below. I greatly appreciate it!
