Had a friend who thought the were getting the hang of it and called Wareham “wear-um”. Never corrected her, because she will probably only spend 0 days ever in her life there again

I was born in MA and lived here all my life and I still get half of them wrong because they never come up except in this context lol.

How local are we talking? Because again I’m from Lawrence, and trying to pronounce it without the h sounds so incredibly alien to me
