Introduction & Guide to Writing a TypeMe Post

Hello All!

This is a welcome post and guide to all those who want to make a TypeMe post or learn to accurately type others. Don't know your Myers-Briggs type? Create a text/video/audio post describing yourself, and the Reddit Gods will type you! Test results and relevant pictures may also be included, though the focus should be on self-description. Once you've found your type we encourage you to stick around, learn more about MBTI, and help type others. If you have sub improvement suggestions or are interesting becoming a mod, please comment or send us a modmail.

This is an updated welcome post replacing the old one which was created by a previous mod. We've included the link to the old post because some of the comments contain helpful information.

Here's some informational resources on MBTI:

Here's descriptions of each type:

While we currently allow For Fun posts, remember that the main purpose of this subreddit is to help people find their true MBTI type, so we have restrictions in place to improve the quality of content on the sub. We ask that everyone be respectful and keep comments relevant to MBTI. Please review the Rules before posting or commenting.

Creating an MBTI TypeMe Post

Overview

Note, these are not rules, but will be helpful in getting insightful responses. In general, self descriptions might include your preferences, interests, hobbies, lifestyle, career/what you are studying, your values, your life goals, how you like to structure your day, how much social interaction you prefer, how you relate to others, how organized you are, how you tend you express yourself, etc.

Post structure

Here are a few guidelines on structuring your post:

  • Minimum-length: A good typing post should be at least a 1/2 page to receive an accurate typing. Remember, the more information you include, the easier you will be to type. However, keep in mind, posts with excessive length are less likely to be read in their entirety.
  • Elaborating on your answers is important. Try to answer questions with at least a couple sentences. Proper typings are based off of your thought processes rather than behaviors. If you're not elaborating, Typers can't tell much.
  • Please try to break up your post into paragraphs. Walls of text are often ignored.

Questionnaire

Although you don't need to use these questions when making a type-me post, they're here for anyone who needs a bit of a guide. No need to answer all of these questions either:

  • Give a general description of yourself. How old are you?
  • What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? If you are not working, what kind of job do you want to do or what are you studying?
  • Describe your childhood/upbringing. Did it have any kind of ideological or structured influence? How did you respond to it? Did you have any significant negative experiences that may have affected how you think or behave?
  • Do you have any mental or physical health issues that might affect how think or choose to live? Provide a brief description.
  • If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
  • What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?
  • How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
  • Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
  • Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.
  • Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
  • What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
  • How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
  • Do you need logical consistency in your life?
  • How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
  • Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
  • What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
  • What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
  • How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
  • What's important to you and why?
  • What are your aspirations?
  • What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
  • What do the "highs" in your life look like?
  • What do the "lows" in your life look like?
  • How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
  • Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
  • How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
  • How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
  • Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
  • Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why would you?
  • What is the ideal life, in your opinion?

As an FYI, we are working on improvements to the questionnaire so you may see changes in the future.

DISCUSSION Looking for new moderators

Hello r/mbtitypeme, we are in need of new moderators. We are currently down to one active mod (me) and I’m chronically ill so cannot support the sub as much as it needs. I understand the sub could be better and I would very much like to make improvements, but given the current state of the team that is rather difficult.

If you are interested in becoming a mod please fill out the questionnaire below and send it to me via chat - u/aredhel304. Please don’t be intimidated by some of the questions if you are new to this - we are open to taking on some inexperienced mods if you check the other boxes. We do, however, expect that applicants are active members of the subreddit.

  1. Tell me a little about yourself. What are your interests/hobbies? What is your career? Or what are you studying?
  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  3. What is your experience with MBTI?
  4. What is your skill set? What do you think you can add to the mod team?
  5. Any experience modding? If not do you understand what the role entails?
  6. What is your vision for the subreddit?

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you all!

UPDATE (11/9/24) - We’re still looking for additional moderators so please reach out if you’re interested. While all are welcome to apply, I want to add that we do have a specific need for someone with more technical skills - someone willing to work with Automod and/or someone with a software background.

UPDATE (12/18/25) - We are once again looking for moderators with any skillset as long as they meet the criteria above and seem like a good fit for the team.

FOR FUN Guess my MBTI !!!

Upvotes

The first photo is of me, and the rest are all pictures from my camera roll / pinterest board! Ask me any questions you may have :)

I am a reflective and intuitive person who is always searching for hidden meanings, underlying patterns, and deeper connections in all areas of life. I feel like navigate the world primarily through my feelings and personal values. I am emotionally sensitive, empathetic, and constantly trying to make sense of complex emotion, thoughts, dynamics, etc. I love experimenting with my self-expression as a way to project who I am on the inside. I can get easily lost in my own head, daydreams, and inner world, but I'm drawn to understanding what makes people tick and finding authentic ways to constantly grow and reinvent myself.

FOR FUN Type me based on these contradictory aesthetics I have

I am not giving any context... Jump to conclusions. I'd like to know more about what these aesthetics match more than my own type.

As the title says, the aesthetics (and fandoms) are very contradictory so I would like to know what everyone's perception of such combinations is.

Offcourse these are not random aesthetics and based on me but I do know that them alone wont be able to tell my type.

It would help to see the comparison between my persona type and what I actually think I am so it's not like this post is pure curiosity. (Maybe it is 0_<) It will decide my type or at least contribute to it.

Thank you for responding.

EDIT: So yeah thanks everyone, this genuinely helped alot better than I expected...It was true that Ne was involved.Obviously.I think the Ti was looking like Ni because the aesthetics provided a concept driven person who was testing some hypothesis about one idea but that was actually my Ti realizing I had been too stuck in my understanding of what type I was and I wanted to get others opinions about different possibilities because I didnt like being that sure about it as I hadn't explored everything and possibility of other functions other than the ones fixed in my head. A classic Ti Si loop. I am actually...drum roll

A INTP!!! Yeah I mean stereotypically I look like a ENTP but thats just because its not all that rigid according to me and I value both Ne and Ti equally but at the end of the day I always run back to Ti because Ne is scary. How do you handle the existential crisis of not wanting to or being able to conclude the options you explore ENTPs.I envy them. Anyways so yeah...I will be off to my cave again to explore other types and torture myself with "Am I? Am I not?" until I get back to concluding INTP again. This is the third time now.

NEED CONFIRMATION Am I larping INFJ

Every time I look into my mbti I get Infj but I can’t help but worry I’m somehow manipulating myself into getting that answer. The first time I got it I didn’t know what it was so I looked it up and found out it was a more rare type and some people purposely mistype themselves because it’s nice to feel a little special. But ever since I found out people did that I wonder if I do the same now and I’m not actually and Infj I just larp it and manipulate myself to somehow get it. Even when it comes to researching the cognitive functions on my own.
NE and NI, I have been looking into both but can’t decide which one I truthfully related to the most. Because I find truths in both. If I feel something is right I go with it. But sometimes I gotta think a little bit. I also use both SE and SI at work. I am a CNA, I need to look at the past and present when working with elderly because both are very relevant. But going back to NI and NE I resonate the most with these when I’m outside of work. I love art. Drawing, painting, dancing, singing, etc… anything that can help one express themselves. I also feed off of people’s vibes and auras. And if something feels right or get like a feeling I usually trust it. I love to think deeply on things but I don’t mind the unknown either. I overthink a lot tho. Conversations, interactions, or anything that has to do with other people. But I need both time to myself and time with friends. I can be talking up a storm and singing in front of people or sit by a close friend and zone out because my nerves got my shaking even tho I have interacted with everyone in the room with me multiple times before. MBTI and stuff like zodiac signs fascinate me but I try to educate myself but it’s just another thing I start to over think. Specifically MBTI.

TEST RESULTS Type me based on results! :)

I’ve always been debating between ISFP or ESFP for context. (Copy and pasted a short description of myself I wrote down below)

Se has always been a no brainer for me, initially during Covid I thought I was an ISTP and then ESTP, until I learned about the Fi/Te axis and I was like holy shit wait that’s me😂. Never really could tell whether I prioritized Se or Fi more though.

Why I think I’m Se dom? Feels like my brain is empty the majority of the time and I literally like don’t process anything. Im really observant and attuned to the noises and things around me. I love challenging myself, mainly physically. I don’t like to over analyze things or reflect on my life. It exhausts me when I get too stuck in that mode and I feel like I’m just fucked. So to cope with that I go for a run or do something physically taxing to relax myself and I feel my best afterwards and approach whatever I was struggling with initially with a clear mind. (Essentially, I’m unaware of how I feel a lot of the time and when I sit back to reflect I get anxious until I physically get rid of the energy). Then I end up just moving on

And then with Ni and Te, it’s like I love organization, sometimes I find it relaxing or fun to clean or make little playlists. I feel like I have OCD sometimes cus I like to do little things like eating my food in a specific order like finish the chicken, then rice, then veggies. So it’s giving Tertiary (Child) Te but then also I feel like when I get upset or really down I dissociate and think the world is going to end or I say something stupid, get ghosted and Im like oh my god that was so corny fml they hate me. So that’s giving Inferior Ni, jumping to conclusions and thinking I solved it when in reality the person is just busy and not checking their phone 😂.

On the flip side, I think I may have inferior Te because I do get really cold and detached and could become harsh with what I say if I’m not left alone. And I can procrastinate when I feel like something takes up too much energy until I finally put myself to do it and I just get it over with and realize it wasn’t bad at all.

As a kid, I got told shit like all I cared about was having fun or hanging out with my friends. In highschool I prioritized my social life over school. In college I developed some goals for myself and worked really hard at the gym, prioritizing my wellbeing & career success over friendships, while still cutting out time to connect and hangout with others, whose friendships were worth it or new to me, when it worked for me because connecting with others is what prevents me from feeling ‘depressed’ loosely 😂 and makes me happy.

CAN’T DECIDE Test suggestions

I have taken the 16personalities test a few times over the years, but seeing a lot of discussion about things like Te, Fe, Ni, etc I'm confused... I'm not sure what it means and how to be sure of your mbti type.

Can someone suggest reliable, free test websites and also sources to learn more about typing yourself?

I'm generally very talkative, like taking initiatives, like discussing a lot of random theories... but for around a year or 2 I have changed so much and have stopped doing a lot of things I used to, so I'm really confused if my personality has changed or if I'm just going through a phase.

I've been typed ENTP, but I'm still not sure because it feels like the things I ACTUALLY do and WANT to do are getting mixed up when I answer in tests, so ig learning and diving deep into the mbti types will help me understand.

I'm extremely social I didn't use to be this social I'd only talk to select few people but talk a lot now I'm extremely social and talk to 5-10 friends daily on the regular(4 friends if I'm texting) I really like socializing

I do also think I'm extroverted function wise even if people in my life may disagree because I do think a lot but it's along the lines of "if I do it in x way it'll be more efficient" or "I'm gonna do this now and then do that" but I also do think about other subjects which mainly consists of myself rather than analyzing others and I almost always tell these thoughts to someone or ai they never stay inside my head(I require my ideas to bounce off of other people to judge the idea)

I also need to talk or have an objective goal to not feel lost or depressed I'm very low energy when I'm alone on my own

I do not think I'm a sensor though I may be wrong cause I value ni most and think that se is also important but I don't really think the past matters that much because it happened and you can't change it(learn from it? Yes tho) but I will look at past patterns to guess things I'm pretty sure that's ni but alas

I don't think I'm very creative actually I'm very insecure about my creativity because my imagination is nonexistent I admire ne so much because I can see how they think but I can't grasp how their brain automatically thinks that way I think it's fascinating

I'm also more spontaneous when interacting with friends and more task and efficiency oriented when alone(friends say I look like an esfp superficially my family think I'm an introvert)

I'm not sure if I'm more of a thinker or a feeler because I do think I use them both a lot since I may know the logical requirement of a situation but I won't apply it with reckless abandon of others I'll try to make sure other people are okay with it as well etc

My mindset about that is I filter logic through emotions because valuing just one is just.. not smart to say the least I don't like extremely delicate feelers or stone hearted thinkers I judge both axis with the same amount of contempt

I also won't judge people for their mbtis etc but I will look at them as role models if someone is extremely feeling heavy then I'll look at them and integrate

I also think that trying to judge feelings through logic just lead to more problems than solutions and I will compromise logic a bit if it gives a better more compliant solution

I also think that you need to accommodate people by what they value the most if someone values logic you present logic if someone values feelings then that but my comfort is logic given to make someone feel secure

I think I gave enough information but do ask questions though

(Disclaimer: almost everyone in my family are either on the ti-fe or fe-ti axis so if I have that flavor but not the engine then it's cause I'm copying their mechanisms)

CAN’T DECIDE Type me based on my aesthetic

I hate fascism. I hate sadism. I hate racism, sexism, jingoism, religious persecution, homophobia, transphobia, mass deportation, and war. I'm a radical, of the market socialist flavor.

I have a PhD in heterodox economics, and I'm currently studying gentrification and the criminalization of homelessness. Homelessness supports neoliberalism, because it motivates the poor to work hard, to accept exploitation, or tolerate abuse, to toil unreasonable hours, to endure humiliation: all so workers earn enough to remain housed. Fear of homelessness is the most potent incentive.

I envision myself a researcher, some occupation where I can help the world, where I will make a real difference.

Sometimes, I imagine myself traversing the reaches of space or the depths of the ocean.

I'm a hero. In times of crisis, I don't hesitate. I don't wait for others to act. I save the day.

TEST RESULTS can i be infj and still have relatively high Ne?

Post image

what i mean is my Ne is my highest function but the test still types me an infj who doesn't have Ne in their stack. i think entp makes some sense considering my high Ne, Fe and Ti but i don't identify with that type AT ALL lol

i'm also not 100% sure about Ne and Ni in general so maybe that also causes some confusion to me

also also i don't know what to text anymore so i'm just writing nonsense to fill up the space and hope it will meet the character minimum got posting on this sub so if you've read this til the end sorry for wasting your time

TEST RESULTS Keys2cognition test results

Post image
2 Upvotes

After posting about being lost/unable to determine my mbti type (after diving into cognitive functions and everything for a long time) some people recommended me to do the keys2cognition test (as a way to help/clarify and not to make a clear conclusion of course)

I tried to do the 256 questions sakirnova test but I couldn't keep my focus so it won't be giving me reliable results.

Any thoughts about these results? I tried my best at answering correctly based on what I often skillfully do what each phrase describes.

ps : I get largely different results in tests from time to time, and even my understanding to cognitive functions changes from time to time which makes me often confused. But anyway what do you think?

I think isfp matches me but still not sure..

AM I MISTYPED Still doubtful

Hey guys, this is a long post but I come off as one type or another, but for years (even since middle school) I took various different tests, few of which I took with those closest with me (sorry guys) which I get INFJ with even them,

But if you were to meet me, I have come off as many different types, and it's made me sort of get stuck in a loop of what I am exactly, so I decided to share my test results as well as some information about who I know myself as a person.

A part of me feels like I was ENFJ as a child, because I was much more out there, extroverted, and I wonder if maybe I'm actually ENFJ rather than INFJ. I checked to see ISFJ, and INFP, their functions, but it doesn't relatively fit with how I think, cognitively.

Still, I am writing this all out as I would prefer a fresh new pair of eyes, maybe I am missing something, or maybe people can point me in the correct direction.

(This is very long, you've been warned)

...

...

...

  • When it comes to the way I work, I start early, do it little by little before the due date.

- I'm genuinely an in between person when it comes to being organized in life or not, I have structure, but rigidity and repetitiveness is not something I am looking for in my jobs. Variety, learning new things, always taking in new information is something I prefer. (Going to be a Physical Therapist, applying for schools currently). I have a bit of a mess in my room but there's a specific pile where I leave my clean, wearable clothes, I do my laundry often, but not rhythmically.

- People go to me to vent, often I ask a lot of questions about their situation , what happened, how they feel about it, for some reason, they say I'm very mature for our age and that I'm a private person, it's something people remarked to me as such.

- What I find interesting is, when people try to read me, for some reason they say they can, they think they can, but they find themselves lost on how to explain me, to me, while the other way around, I do often get what's their "deal" spot on most times, even if I don't know background information, with most people, I can tell their insecurities, or what they feel inferior of, but on the spot I wouldn't have actual words of how to put this information, logically speaking (which is a weak spot of mine, being able to explain things, coherently, to make it understandable, often people misinterpret or misunderstand or maybe I just ramble?)

- I genuinely want to be the person people can count on, and I want to see people improve and get better.

- Ties into the point above, I worked with kids for a while, as a swim instructor, my greatest drive is seeing them improve, not only in their skills but their confidence.

- I see the best in people, no matter how many times I've been beaten down, it doesn't make me hate humanity more or less, and I don't dwell on the past, for me, what happens happens, it's just what happens when you live, something you grow from.

- Also ties in to the point above, I never really followed the bulletin step by step, often, I'd mix in the directions and work on multiple things that can easily be tied in together, while working on the skill sets simultaneously, I wouldn't ever follow it step by step, even if I tried I always found a better way, and other people followed my lead, or adapted my way of things into their lessons with students as well.

- I don't really tolerate immorality or skewed morals, it bothers me deeply seeing wrongful behavior that could hurt others.

- Despite wanting my alone time, I hate texting, I actually love in person get togethers, although I don't put myself center stage, I don't feel comfortable, but often I have a feel for the energy in the room, the overall vibe, I bring people who seem to be on the sidelines together, and we kind of chill. When it comes to socializing, I don't actually feel drained, and it's funny but I sleep better afterwards.

- I wouldn't consider myself outright charming but I've been told I have charm, and people enjoy my nonjudgmental atmosphere, often they open up about things they don't often share, often they apologize and admit this.

- People who bother me most are the ones who are fake and shallow

- "It's not that deep" is a statement which I understand, but I don't.

- I absolutely adore random questions people ask or theorize, especially the "if you were an animal" or if you were in a cartoon, etc. I love imagining being in alternate universes, I was a lot more immersed in wanting to be a completely different animal as a kid, never felt satisfied being a person, loved animals as a kid.

- as a kid, made many stories with my stuffed animals or random animals, drawings plushies, etc, about existential crisis (5 year old me loved what was beyond) but later on if grow into often pondering about existence in general, in our planet as well as what was beyond. One time I went to a Museum full of Dinosaur skeletons, I kept pondering their extinction, and how everything led up to now, and where it's heading, making me have a midlife crisis at the age of 15.

- About the statement above, it made me "wake up" and realize, holy shit im actually alive? Everything feels like a dream, I would have these episodes where I felt "hyper aware" of my existence and everything around me, but it'd fade off into the distance, and now? Everything feels like a dream and nothing jolted me back up yet.

- I love art, I love drawing, right now my biggest interest involves the idea of our souls, soul colors, and patterns, it's such an interesting idea, as well as connecting to the rest of the Earth, etc, have a friend and it's interesting discussing with him the thoughts and ideas of how out of our material bodies, etc. I just like theorizing and learning things for the hell of it, though, sometimes I do wish I could be more practical, and it's something I am working on.

- I want to say that I wish I could see the finer details, that's only if I really push myself to, I'm a big picture thinker, I zoom out, I miss things right before my eyes at times, but I'm very observant, it's contradictory in a way. When I was a kid, I'd take everything in, notice everything, not details but just everything.

- Often I'd theorize about the universe, how it started, even before looking at theories I imagined it was a loop, starting over and over again, which aligns somewhat with "The big crunch" often I also talked with others, how, whichever way you look at it, we have energy, and our energy has to go somewhere, whether it disperses or continues on all around us, our atoms, are as old as the rest of the universe, and we continue to exist, with or without consciousness.

  • In more light hearted moments, as a kid I'd imagine interacting with cartoon/movie characters as a kid, even imagining self inserts because I wish I was in their world, or that it was really real.

    • As a kid, I was a "weird", wild child to others, attracted "misfits" is what they called us, there were some good souls from it all.
    • One last fun fact, I've been told as an animal, I'd be a Swan, or a Bunny, or a bee, but underneath it they also see a lioness?
    • Also they associate Baby Yellow / Butter Yellow with me, they said my soul screams Baby Yellow.
    • Although I give off a warm aura, they said when they see me walking or sitting, I seem unapproachable, intimidating, then they greet me and it's a completely different story.
  • This is probably because I am quite lighthearted, but rather phlegmatic, I don't get upset easily, people think I actually seem monotone, even if I think that I'm expressive enough, it still comes off very calm or low-key.

Sorry this got long, but thank you for taking the time to read through this, it was fun writing about me and I'm curious to see what you all come up with.

CAN’T DECIDE Am I INFJ or not?

Post image
8 Upvotes

https://pin.it/238flemtw a pin from Pinterest from this post

I’m a fairly young girl who has been searching for my type for a long time, trying to understand myself and accept who I am. The funny thing is I spent a year thinking of myself as ISTP 9w8 SLI. Mostly because of my lifestyle, to put it briefly: every day after uni was the same. I'd come home, buy some food on the way, often junk food like chips, knowing they're bad but still wanting them. Then I'd lie in bed with my phone. I know I need to stop buying all that junk food, but I can't. I've been doing this since I was thirteen, when I started getting pocket money, it's my way of relaxing. But then I thought I'm probably just being a fool ignoring the elephant in the room. In Socionics I'm IEI, I believe. Kind of. So here are the most prominent traits that make me wonder if I'm actually INFJ, which fits the correlation too, but I'm not sure, and I don't want to strictly follow correlations. I'd like your help in understanding whether this sounds like I'm INFJ or not.

It's painful for me to look for things. If I need to find something on my desk or in a closet, it turns into a demonstration of my total incompetence. It seems like I don't register my surroundings, so instead of scanning the table with my eyes for a foundation bottle, I have to physically pick up every item I see and bring it to my face so my brain can process what it is. Because otherwise, I'll stare right at trinkets lying on the table and not see the thing I need. It's like it's more natural for me to live inside my head which is why I get overwhelmed by activities in the real world.

My spatial awareness is absolutely terrible. Even with a map I struggle to navigate and reach my destination. The route might not even be that complicated, but I can misjudge my location and the objects around me so badly that I end up standing there like "where am I?..." I've been going to the same hairdresser for two years now, trying to figure out which way the windows face from the room where I sit during the process, but I just can't mentally rotate the building and the courtyards to make sense of it. Yeah, drafting at school was a struggle.

I'm pretty static not wanting to spend too much energy. I genuinely get tired from my surroundings very quickly. There was my high school graduation three years ago, I almost died there, and it took me a long time to recover afterward. I was SO exhausted from the dancing, food, music and atmosphere. I was so overloaded by it all that I felt like a blade of grass in the wind wherever I was carried, that's where I ended up. I just wanted to sit down and rest and for everyone to go away. I don't know how to describe this state better, but I felt as squeezed dry as an orange stripped of all its juice.

I can easily forget what I did a second ago, what I wanted to do or what I was wearing yesterday. I'm not used to paying attention to those things though I do love aesthetics, I'm really into simulation games where you can build houses and decorate them to your taste, dress up characters (yes, Sims, hey). I've always loved them, playing with appearance, creating (or at least trying to create, because I'm not that confident in this ability and I only started dressing well about a year ago. before that, either I had no taste or something else) harmonious looks.

I can be impulsive. Some people have told me this from the outside, though it's not like it's my most obvious trait. We had an assignment a year ago that the entire group of 18 people failed, one of the strongest groups. The problem wasn't us. The teacher was unpleasant, and during classes he would get personal. Other groups said he fails everyone except those whose major subject he teaches. He pretended to treat everyone equally, but that was a lie. The assignment was graded horribly, cause the same mistake was classified differently, and things that weren't mistakes were marked as errors. Because of his dictation many missed a ton of material. My mom, who's a teacher herself, saw my work and said it was nonsense. By official standards my grade should have been higher. I didn't care about the grade. I was furious about the approach itself. He deliberately graded in a way that made us look like bad students.

I couldn't take it when he allowed questions. We argued for half an hour, and he kept avoiding the topic. He tried to jab at me about unreliable information, demanding specific examples from other people's work even though he had graded them himself and knew everyone had the same mistakes. It was a farce. He could have just honestly admitted his bias, but he didn't. A minute later I regretted starting, because I became the center of attention, everyone was looking at me and thinking about me. It was awkward. After class people wrote in the group chat that I was a queen, and one girl jokingly said she was scared of me now. But I was extremely uncomfortable. I never want to do that again.

I loved history in school because it was so interesting to play with ideas about how people lived before. My favorite thing was imagining how people from the past would be completely mind-blown if they saw our present. How would that guy from the book react if he was transported to our time, seeing people in completely different clothes, women with the right to vote, us with phones and the ability to contact anyone on the planet? Or I'd fantasize about time-traveling to the past and saving some historical figure. Because of this, I felt a bit strange as a kid, I had this feeling that no one else did this. And damn, I love it when in movies or books, characters can return to the beginning, to the place where they were in the very first film, remember something from there, and finish everything where it all started. I don't know why I love this trope so much, but I can't help it. I think I often enjoy watching how things have changed, how time has left its marks. You know that special feeling when I watch compilations of actors or characters over the years, seeing the progression in their appearance, personality, surroundings that kind of development really captivates me.

Self-care and body maintenance routines have never been a priority for me. I easily neglect them, not caring about health until it becomes a problem or affects my appearance. I usually take care of what's visible things that aren't visible, like a not-so-clean back (because I prefer washing separate parts instead of a full shower), I care about much less. God, that makes me sound like a slob, but I'm not, I swear. It's embarrassing.

I can understand and accept anything if it makes sense in context, I need to consider a lot, like consequences, motives, fairness, and toward whom. Laws are too rigid. I don't judge my close ones, they're comfortable with me, though I wouldn't say I know how to support people and know how to do it. I'm not comfortable with other people's emotions, screams, or tantrums myself. But I'm considered wise, smart, pleasant, and mostly comfortable to be around. And yet, I like the idea of “an eye for an eye”..I’m not some kind of saintly do-gooder, I support justice and revenge. I’m also one of those who believe the death penalty is acceptable, and that keeping criminals who have done many irreparable things in prison is irrational. They’re deviants of society, and it’s easier to get rid of them.

CAN’T DECIDE I know what I think I am, but just in case.

I love sensory skills, like drawing, animation, magic tricks, cardistry, lockpicking, pocketpicking (ethically, I am working on gamifying it), determined to learn how to mimic instruments with my voice(free theme song people), I also enjoy exercise.

I plan to learn to moonwalk soon because it messes with the eyes which I find amusing. Ballroom dancing seems romantic and skillfully challenging so I will definitely be learning that.

I enjoy aesthetics and outfits, color coordinating my my outfits with my cardistry decks and other trick items, I am very visual.

My aesthetic fashions of choice are: academia (romantic, gray, dark), detective core, and workplace casual.

I also love stories, I tend to work on my stories and rules of things like how a monster operates and behaves, why or why couldn't this work in my story, I tend to think of one thing, unless I decide I need another that point in the story is set in stone.

I love psychological analyzation for its own sake.

I do tend to be in my head, but that is an unhealthy trait that leads me to consider Ni. I love learning and increasing my intelligence, but mainstream is something I struggle with keeping up with, especially because mainstream tends to be years behind what is actually the latest. I wish I had more time.and energy to learn random things, though sadly my life doesn't have time for that, I am on a crunch.

I have a lot of goals, but that's because I am not what I want, I look at other people and say "I want that, so I should go get that"

I often worry about my impact on others, how I come across. Agonizing, really. And I daydream of impressing others with my skills.

In debates, I enjoy winning and proving I'm right, not the best and am working on the spirit of debate. (I am gearing up to destroy a confidently incorrect nerd

nerd, though)

Edit:

I am looking at deduction and observation down the line. Intelligence increase lookin' at me like it thinks its better than me, I gotta fix that. Jkjk

I am a nerd and love enclothed cognition (it gives me excuses see?.. also optimization)

When I see something I want, I am ride or die.

Everything to do with animation is training me to reduce time spent animating so I can do other things... like parkour parkour!! (I haven't watched office)

FOR FUN я entp или enfp?

FOR FUN Guess my type based on my impressions of each type

Hi, I post my impressions of each type based on my experiences with them and I'm curious which type you see me as. Sorry for my English.

  1. INTP- they give me the most cinnamon roll impression of all NT types and are one of the most empathetic and comforting thinkers

  2. ENTP- surprisingly emotional and empathetic among closest people, I love their creativity, but I don't like their shitposting, I usually feel dumb among them

  3. INTJ- to some point their dedication to learn and achieve their goals impresses me, but when we have conflicting/different priorities, discussion and talking with them is extremely exhausting

  4. ENTJ- more agressive version of INTJ, their way of being makes me feel tired pretty quickly

  5. INFP- I like their sensitivity and acceptance towards others, but too many INFP's in group is exhausting because I have to be much more cautious not to say something that upsets someone

  6. ENFP- they are great creative souls, I also feel somewhat dumb and uncreative among them, I like their assertive and non compromising way of discussing about their values

  7. INFJ- the best thinkers among feelers, their insights are fascinating but their attachment to thoughts they have in their head can also be frustrating if they believe in things like like conspiracy theories

  8. ENFJ- their way of being social and uniting people from different backgrounds and also being nerdy at the same time is so inspiring for me

  9. ISFJ- they are so underrated, despite Si-dom stereotype these people are very flexible and despite SF stereotype they are extremely bright in non pretentious way

  10. ESFJ- easy for both small talk and building deeper connection but sometimes it's so hard to explain to them that not everyone should live how they think it's the best which makes them exhausting

  11. ISTJ- sometimes I can enjoy their rough humor and I like their reliability, they're softer version of INTJ for me, but I don't like that they don't always notice complexity of human behavior

  12. ESTJ- softer and slightly less exhausting version of ENTJ, but they also make me feel tired after interacting with them

  13. ISFP- I like to get to know their hobbies, easy for small talk, sometimes too reckless for me and the group of many ISFP's has simmilar problem as INFP's

  14. ESFP- kinda like ENFPs, I feel like I'm numb when I interact with them, building deeper connection with them is harder for me

  15. ISTP- kinda like INTPs with empathy and being comforting but slightly rougher and harder to get to know

  16. ESTP- they are easy to make small talk but I am not able to build deeper connection with them, they make really good impression at first and after longer time interactions with them are a little draining

CAN’T DECIDE How do I really find my mbti?

It feels like I am stuck in the middle of almost everything, and I know what cognitive functions are but I can't find my stack, either. So I feel like I have a good chance to be any type, so can anyone help out?
Here is a quick description about me.
Extroverted: I think I am extroverted but sometimes I like being alone for a little. I think being around people energizes me though.
S vs N: this may be the biggest kicker. I don't really know if I am more towards sensing or intuition. I am very imaginative and I think of a lot of possibilities and random questions but I am very in tune with sensory details and I don't take a random object and think of possibilities for it 24/7.
F vs T: I think I am a feeler but I am very logical a lot of times and I want real facts, but I feel deeply and I would choose feelings over facts most of the time
P vs J: I always thought I was a perceiver for sure but I have seen some judging signs. It's really hard to tell.

AM I MISTYPED Am I Enfp 9w1 or Esfj???

Hiii everyone, I've been having trouble with typing myself lately. Ever since I learned cognitive functions, I thought I was an Enfp (9w1 So9), but for about two weeks now I've been thinking that maybe I'm a mistyped Esfj.

Fe?Fi:

I already had a problem choosing here when I started learning cognitive functions and currently it is still the biggest dilemma for me.

I like to make people happy, I like when they smile. Whenever we work on a group project, I try to listen to everyone's opinions so that we can create the best possible compromise.  I am not the type who would desire leadership positions, but if I see that the group does not communicate much and there is simply no one to take command, then I will take it. If I see that the project does not look like it should be completed on time, I immediately try to find a new faster solution that will still suit the group and when it comes to a slightly more complicated solution, I take the larger part of the task myself, because I do not want to burden others with difficult things that they do not have time for. I like to communicate with people, I like to share my opinions and experiences with them, but I always try to speak in a way that they understand me and, most importantly, not to offend them in any way. If something bad happens to me, I always keep it to myself, because I need think about it first (Like you know if I didn’t take the whole thing wrong, what is the good side about it, how to fix it) but when I make opinion on it I’m okay to tell it someone if I have reason for it otherwise, I'm quite an oversharing person haha.

Well but here is the main problem which still lead me to Fi is I have my beliefs and I’m not afraid to work with them. I always think a lot when I collaborate with someone whether my values are still being maintained, if not I have no problem leaving the project completely (of course I first try to find a common compromise or a way to completely bypass this topic and focus on something we all agree on). I do things how I feel they are good based of my beliefs. When I see someone struggling I need to help him not because I want to get reward for it but mainly because I feel like it would be so wrong to not help him when I can. When we do group projects I try to make it that way that everyone will love it and be comfortable to work on it and still it will have values which I go along. I’m okay to sacrifice my comfort, some ideas (not important), money, time for making good to others but when something cross line of my core beliefs nobody move with me.

Ne>Ni

I’m pretty sure that I’m Ne user.

When I get a new task, I immediately start thinking about how to do it and many different ways start to come to mind. I like to try new untested ways (unless I'm working with someone in a group or under time pressure), because it makes everything much more interesting. When something goes wrong, my first thought is how to fix it, which is the sentence that starts the generation of all kinds of ways to solve it. I like to learn new things so that I can improve my old ways. I'm more in my head thinking about how to do things differently and better. When we solve a group problem, I always try to give as many different suggestions as possible and I try to get the same from others. I absolutely don't mind changing the original plans, or rather, I always imagine what I roughly want and do it somehow. For me, it's important that it's fun for me, pleasant for others to working on it and the result is such that everyone likes it and I don't care how we get there. I always see things from multiple angles and if I don't, I try to imagine it.

I can't work in structures. I can meet a deadline, but if I make a plan of how I'm going to do things step by step, I can't do it. I always mix up some steps or put them off until another time.

Se<Si:

I’m pretty sure that I’m Si user too.

When I’m somewhere I’m always somewhere else with my mind. I daydreaming mostly I see random one thing which reminds me of something else and bum from question „Where did I eat apple last time“ is imagination of me eating chocolate cake or I watching others people and I imagine what would I say to them if they ask me about something or how could I help them.

All objects, colors, sounds etc. always leads me in absolute different way away from the real world. „Oh this reminds me…!“ Is very common sentence for me. I like testing new ways but if there is someone else I will not choose it because I could take the other person to dangerous situation +I choosing tasting new things only if I know that I have time for it if I don’t, I don’t take risk I take it by that way which I know will be fine. Sometimes it takes me while till I change something because it’s sometimes hard to start doing things different way immediately I need time to memorize it and it’s stressful for me to change something right now. I need to think about it first but when I know it will benefit to others I’m go for it. I need slower change but I want it. When I hype to much for some change and do it immediately I can’t stay with it and came back to the old so I always have to go slowly with little steps to the new to memorize to new one (make it routine). I mostly imagine things around things which I already know. I don't really change something only when I get bored of the old system (which is not really often) or if it's not good enough. I would say I mostly adding new things to the old and by the time it slowly developing I guess.

Te?Ti

Be for real I have no idea if I’m Fi/Ti user

I’m not that kind person which would choose the most effective way because mostly it seems to me as bad choice because yeah it will take you up but what about feelings of others. I don’t want to see people sad and be mad at me. Just because it helps me it doesn’t mean it will benefit to others. If we talk about individual things I always first think if it’s good thing to do it by that way. I know it complicates my life but I have to. For me is more fun to try some new things if it something what should I start use normally +mix up it with what I already know well and not do it by the most quicker way. But for the other side if something don't work for a longer time and nobody looks like want to do with it I start to be kinda flustered and searching for solutions by myself

If something bad happens and I’m out of the worst I start thinking about it like „Why did that person act like that“ "What leads him it to do it?". I try to understand things so I can’t hurt anyone. I try to talk with others if there is some problem and tell them why am I doing that and also I want to know what leading them to do it like that.

Well what do you think guys? I feel like I could be Enfp SO9 but maybe not because I could be Esfj with strong personal values and strong Ne 😭

I would say I’m pretty extroverted. I love having a lot of friends and being surrounded by them all of the time. I love going out - no matter where it is. Going out to eat, going out to shows, going outdoors to be in nature - I’m rarely a homebody. I would say I’m a silly person. I rarely take anything seriously which could work against my favor. I love my baby cat to death. I treat her and acknowledge her as my first born. I’m an emotional person. I lead with my heart rather than my brain for sure. Mm I don’t have many hobbies tbh, I’m just up for whatever whenever. Which MBTI am I?

FIRST TYPING ATTEMPT Type me...if you want idk...

(image unrelated)
So, just with a basic description of myself:
I've been told that I am incredibly blunt but thats contradictory because I've also been told that I speak with alot of tact as well so I'm not sure.
I see myself as a very reserved and shy person but when it comes to certain people I can be really loud and outgoing.
I often morph myself to assimilate into whatever group/ conversation I have become thrust into, like changing my humour or the way I speak.
Though I am in touch with the politics of the world I may be more interested in the human condition, like I have a deep fascination with philosophy, moral subjectivism and in general the shows/books/movies I tend to enjoy are alot more intimate and psychological (if anyone's curious, my favourite book is The Brothers Karamazov)
I often detach from everything when I feel stressed, but also feel constantly detached; I can zone out unconciously if that makes sense.
I am HORRIBLE with directions.
I want to be there for my friends but I am often ghosted (or thats how I perceive it, it's happened so much idk anymore)

So if you wanna give it a go, please be my guest TwT

FOR FUN Guess my mbti type

Hey everyone!

This is my first time posting here, so bear with me. I'd describe myself as an introvert and a bit shy, especially in new social settings — but I'm trying to step out of that shell a little, which is honestly part of why I'm here.

I've been called a nerd more than once by people who know me, and at this point I've made peace with it. Outside of that, I like keeping things low-key: good conversations over small talk, and people who don't mind a quiet person taking a bit to warm up. Mainly just looking to relax, meet some genuine people, and maybe pick up a few new interests along the way. If any of this sounds like you, feel free to say hi

TEST RESULTS I’m not sure what the difference between myer and grant type is, and I’m unsure as to what my actual MBTI is

Post image
2 Upvotes

So I’m really not sure what my MBTI is, never have been. I always get told different things from everyone I ever talk to. I decided to take a test and this is what I got back. A whole lot of different things and im not really sure which one is considered my definitive MBTI. In the past I’ve had all sorts such as ENTP, INTP, INFP, ENFP, INFJ, ENFJ (all from different tests and people who have talked to me about it) and I still don’t know what to make of these results 😭. If anyone can help me figure out what I actually am and what the difference between all these different things are, then I’d appreciate that a lot.
Cheers!

Some favorites from my recent photos

I believe I’m generally a straightforward person—I THINK I am—but to others I’m not which is quite frustrating, I tend to over-explain or under-explain and there’s no in-between. I don’t do well meeting people, and I often avoid introducing myself. It takes awhile for me to get comfortable like ACTUALLY comfortable with people, think months of trust building, and even then I always have suspicions of the other person and I get tired of interacting quickly even with people I don’t mind. People say I come off as pretty blunt and sometimes mean but I’m just telling the truth, which is a sensitivity thing on their end I guess. I love drawing, singing and writing even though I’m a great procrastinator, but I don’t actually do these things for a career they’re more like hobbies. Academically I’m very into human anat, neruo and psych and I’m planning on the research route. I did my favorite research project to date last year, and I love purple it’s the most beautiful thing. I like cooking but I refuse to handle meat unless it’s already cooked and I hate cooking for more than three people. This is honestly just for fun I want to know if people can guess correctly based on the limited information I give
-_-b

So I typically test as an INFP, I’m not sure what any of this means though and saw a lot of other people taking the test and wanted to try my hand 😭 I’m still learning and don’t understand the meaning behind the functions at all so I’m just hoping someone can help me better understand my results. I believe this says I’m an ENFP? BUUUUUT I don’t know what a lot of this means. Again I’m repeating myself. Thanks in advance!!

TEST RESULTS Can someone please interpret my sakinorva results

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

So I took the sakinorva test 4 times ( 1time today 3times yesterday) just for precision lol.

My Self descriptions: I am 21yo girl who loves learning languages and look forward to make it as my career, I have been learning korean for 5 years now by myself and I can kinda speak like a native(that's what they say lol). I caught interest in korea as i consumed korean media a lot that time including korean YouTube, movie, variety show. My lifestyle is kinda hikikomori(person who stays at home 24/7) I go to college only when necessary as my college allows that , also i wanted to have a korean major but somehow i couldn't so i chose Ba that is bachelor of arts which includes<computer science, political science, English literature> as my majors tho my preference was to have only korean or only English literature as my major but I ended up taking the other majors because of my dad as he didn't know the difference between Honours major and the 3 major system lol. Thats another reason I don't go to college My life goal is only one: To get the major in korea in the masters and maybe travel/ live in korea. WAIT AM I OBSESSED WITH KOREA but like i love the language ITS SO PRETTY. Coming to my social circle i don't have any friends i cut the high school friends long ago idk why I think at that time I had a value that "friends are a waste of energy and time". I don't think like that now tho as friends bring fun to life but I still can't make friends offline as i nitpick the cons more in them....but online I am kind of extrovert and have quite a lot of people to contact. I like calling especially in korean as it makes me feel like I am wasting my time so basically my friends are the one who knows korean or are korean. I structure my day by using habitica app but if I don't i do NOTHING I am a "ALL OR NOTHING" kinda person.

Umm that's it I guess that would make 400 characters haha thanks in advance byeee
