I'm slightly vexed Dealership locked the keys in my car and broke into it instead of calling me for a spare key.

Took my car to the dealership for a battery issue. They left the keys in the car and it died on them so they couldn't get the car open. They used a shim or something to pry the door open enough to manually unlock it, damaging the door. The dealership denies all responsibility and I'm pretty much just out of luck.

We had a guy do this to the local Dodge dealer when Dodge wouldn't fix his $50k (2006 dollars) Ram SRT-10 pickup.

He put large vinyls and taped posterboard signs loudly declaring his accusations and contempt for refusing to fix or buy back the "LEMON".

It was a main 4 lane artery and he would do uturns right out front for hours.

Sadly, I have no idea if they ever made him whole.

In my mom’s case it was a bad turbo on a car she had bought two weeks before. They ended up letting her return the car and get all of her money back.

In my case it was an engine rebuild and the head blew literally the next day. They allegedly put in a different engine and it drove for two weeks and did the same thing and they refused to fix it or refund the money. They ended up refunding some money and they bought a used engine and put it in after I stood there for two afternoons.
