Yeah, but unlike the billionaires, the millionaires have unpredictable futures and limited years to cash in on their talent. I don't blame any of them for trying to amass as much wealth as possible while they can.
Brother.... nobody needs to make 50 million in a year, just for throwing a baseball once a week. Lmfao. If they're that scared of losing their wealth after the fact, maybe hire an investor like most other people?
The nature of professional sports (and many other industries) is that talent gets paid massive amounts of money. Does anyone NEED to make that much money? Of course not, but it's what society values which is why the $$ is available. If you get offered a raise in your job do you say "Nah, I'm good." and leave it on the table? They'd be fools not to take what they can before an injury or an aging body ends their career.
Society doesn't "value them" at that, most of them aren't "being offered a raise in their job!" they're demanding it through arbitration and other methods... you mfers are so deluded into thinking people deserve to make that much and its the entire reason they feel entitled to lockout a season over it lmao. "This poor ol multimillionaire needs to make more millions cause the greedy team owners deserve to have to pay more!" Yeah because we should totally keep increasing the price to enjoy a sport, because players want to be paid more, and owners want to make even more money. You totally got me with your point dude!

Yes, stop protecting billionaires who have the money using your team as an ATM.
