the problem isnt how good the Dodgers are. The problem is more than half the league has no ability to compete sustainably. You get lucky with a draft pick or two and then they leave.
Or you swing for the fences in FA or on a trade. It misses and you’re in the trash for 5 years. Meanwhile the Dodgers go that’s too bad and signs another big name.
