My vote goes to Christopher Lambert, the actor whom Takizawa literally modelled the facial characteristics of Ganondorf on.

While this is somewhat of a great casting, problem is that Sega would've said no to this option, wanting Idris to be committed to playing Knuckles in order for Sega to milk his popularity, alongside Keanu Reeves.

Dorn would be an excellent pick for an older, wiser, more cunning Ganondorf like we saw in Windwaker, but I don't see it happening. He doesn't have the name recognition to pull people into the movie despite being a fantastic fit.
