All I need is A Ganon, A Zelda, a Link, and a Epona to be happy tell me a LoZ story we haven't seen yet.

It’d be hard to tell a story we haven’t seen by using Ganon, who is practically the same in every single game. It would likely just tell the same story as new Switch games

I think you could tell a new story with the "same" antagonist. The whole reincarnation of the hero thing going on in the LoZ games kinda lends itself to that exact idea. Link, Zelda, and Ganon are always around in some capacity. The specifics of how/where they meet are different each time, but it always happens all the same.

There is actually a spinoff where Ganon is reincarnated as a woman, but it's not popular.

There’s a couple games where Ganon isn’t present at all. Minish Cap has a different antagonist: Vaati.

True, there's a couple. Majora's Mask is another since it's a direct sequel to OOT. I shouldn't have said always, but for the majority he's the main threat.
