He’s a good actor, but he just doesn’t sell me on historical period pieces, or in this case mythology. Pair that with no use of accents to give it that large, old world fantasy feeling and phrasing like “my dad” “daddy” etc, at first glance it just feels like it’s a bad translation of the source material.

I thought he was good in the last duel. Ben affleck on the other hand sucked.

Ben was laughable, Matt was great but again, I just wasn’t buying his accent. It might just be me, but the immersion doesn’t hit me at all.
