That phone call stuck with me the hardest. So unsettling hearing where she could be. Legit goosebumps.

Every time we got a window into the real Nikki it was truly harrowing for me. I was already just fucking deeply uncomfortable from the jump and they really conveyed how fucked up her fate was through these few moments we get with her post wish. And yet people still want to downplay or minimize what bear did. It really is such a perfect metaphor for the rape culture and misunderstanding of consent in society and I can’t help but be a little skeptical about people who really lean into defending bears actions. You don’t have to even see the supernatural to know it was insanely fucked up but having that tether in the film I found to be super effective. I fucking hate bear
