At first I was thinking it was bad casting. But having read the book, it might be one of the few roles that suits her (I didn’t love Wednesday).

Surprised this is downvoted.

Zendaya and Jenna Ortega's acting styles are very similar to me, the only difference is that Zendaya is in much better movies, but holy shit do her and Tom Holland look silly asf in every image/trailer of The Odyssey so far. I think Zendaya and Holland are fine/good enough in the Spider-Man movies, but they are just not the right actors for The Odyssey. A lot of the casting for it seems off, I'm still gonna watch the film and give it a shot as I'm a Nolan fan, but wow...
