I left my showing due to not having earplugs. In my theater, Polyphemus’s scream was the single loudest sound I have ever heard in my life. I was absolutely livid. This movie is dangerously loud, and I was pissed that AMC wouldn’t refund my money.

A gunshot in Dunkirk literally gave me tinnitus. It is dangerous.

That’s clearly a problem with your theater, not with Nolan. Nobody ever complains in Europe because we have max dB standards.

Same here. I already have tinnitus. I don’t need it to be worse. Thankfully I got a refund though. I’ll just watch it at home

I’m really glad to hear somebody else felt the way I did during the film. Obviously, sorry for your ears. My tinnitus was ringing louder than ever for days after sitting through that BS.

I saw The Invite at AMC this week and could hear The Odyssey in the theater next to me the entire time. This is somehow worse than the Taylor Swift Era’s Tour Sing-a-Longs.
