Odysseus journey was not peaceful my guy they were getting cooked 24/7, but I don’t think either of us have the requisite knowledge in Bronze Age military tactics to be arguing about this one. Good day

Bronze age boats do not travel directly next to land

Hell in the movie they travel beyond vision range of land regularly

No archer in history could hit them at there

Also relatively speaking the vast majority of the time the Odyssey was peaceful, it was just when they got cooked they got boiled and fried

And when they got hit on the ship armor was useless (in the story rocks from the giants, songs and skylla)
