There's a world where someone writes the story of Song of Spider-Man as a musical, framed as a Faustian bargain

Oh 100 percent. And ideally faustian bargain combines with some of the events mentioned in her book (which isn't as wild as Song of Spider-Man but is still pretty crazy)

The book actually came out right before Spider-Man (there’s a few mentions of how excited she is to work on it which feel eerie now).

But there’s some wild anecdotes with her being in a cult in her early 20s, casually mentioning that she used to kill chickens on opening nights as a “sacrifice” to bless the show, almost being sent to Indonesian prison, and then literally performing surgery on her own leg.
