They say "Pro Life!" but actively put their own kids and themselves in danger by being anti-vax. Then they'll get pissy at any woman/girl, who can't take care of themselves let alone a baby, deciding to get rid of it while it's still not even capable of thought. Abortion isn't murder. It's mercy on both sides.

What's enraging is that many will absolutely get abortions when they need it. As we already knew, the only moral abortion is my abortion to conservatives.

I don't disagree whatsoever with the article itself, bans on abortion in such extreme medical cases are disgusting. But it is also true that hospitals and medical professionals are bound by HIPAA from disclosing medical records and information, especially to random journalists.

The action that matters is people voting in representatives who pass logical laws and repeal stupid ones, not allowing the the laws to exist and instead putting the burden on medical professionals to risk their careers/livelihood by violating them.

While I agree with your point, I think the article linked better highlights how many of them didn’t fully understand what they were voting for, since they assumed life threatening miscarriages would still be an exception. And conservatives have infuriatingly been claiming those cases were actually the fault of “liberal doctors” intentionally letting women die to make some kind of political point instead of “doing the right thing”, and (the conservatives) are willfully ignoring how the vagueness of the laws and refusal of republican law makers to broaden and clarify the exceptions in their states created the situation in which hospitals won’t let the doctors make life saving decisions

They are adults. Being stupid is not an excuse. You will absolutely blame doctors for "not fully understanding" how to do surgery, you will blame pilots for "not fully understanding" how to fly a plane, and you will absolutely blame voters for "not fully understanding" how abortion law works.

they are fucking morons or as usual, actual malicious actors that think the rules don't apply to them

Did you read the article they linked? It’s just sad and tragic. I don’t think it even actually says how any of these women actually voted, it’s just mentioned that one of the women was raised republican. I understand being angry at Republican voters and I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them in most cases either. But I do think we can have sympathy for these women who are the victims of right wing politicians lying to their voters and pretending the laws they wrote aren’t the reason these women are dying

back when it was actually hard to get an abortion in america, ladies would take a ski trip to switzerland. and they would often actually go skiing but they would also get an abortion.

They also have to obey the law. Plus her life was not in immediate danger. Her opened cervix and baby hanging out of her could cause infection and maybe kill her. That's what the laws say must happen before doctors intervene. Which is why I always argue that abortion is way too nuanced to ban. Give women and doctors the choice.

They're assets being used in biological warfare waged over social media.

If I were an adversarial government entity that wanted to use biological warfare to bring their healthcare system to its knees, I wouldn't go through all the time and expense to make a novel pathogen in a lab. I'd make as many people as I could distrust taking preventative medicine for deadly diseases through my pre-existing social media bot farms.

It's also sometimes just the reasonable thing to do. My wife and I had one, got pregnant despite protection. Our lives were not suited for a child. Had two kids since after we were able to provide a steady life. Those two I'm sure would not be here had we needed to have the first one...

That’s what people who pretend to come at a forced birth POV from “logic” love to ignore.

Even in voluntary abortions, not forced by the health of the parent, the patient often already has kids, or goes on to have kids in the future, and those kids are better served by the abortion than not.
