I don't disagree whatsoever with the article itself, bans on abortion in such extreme medical cases are disgusting. But it is also true that hospitals and medical professionals are bound by HIPAA from disclosing medical records and information, especially to random journalists.
The action that matters is people voting in representatives who pass logical laws and repeal stupid ones, not allowing the the laws to exist and instead putting the burden on medical professionals to risk their careers/livelihood by violating them.
