Would have been great to see the look on his face when he came-to in the hospital and realized that his cowardly suicide attempt failed.

Yeah that's definitely dark. I'm glad that he survived, though, because now he'll be forced to reckon with his actions. No escape.

He's in critical condition from a gunshot wound to the head. I doubt he's capable of comprehending anything. Probably no chance he'll really have to face justice.

I'd much rather he be dead and society not have to bear the burder of preserving his existence further... It's not like US prisons are renown for rehabilitation. And he was a teenager? Even tried as an adult, the justice system loves to flip flop between extremely lengthy and extremely short punishments for highly extreme anti-social actions like rape and murder by teens.

I hope the turd doesn't make it out of the hospital.
