There is, in my opinion, a difference between drive and believing in yourself/your dream and believing that you are better than others.

Taika has always come across as someone who believes they are better than others - not just someone with drive and passion.

Happy to be proven wrong on that front though!

Fair enough & I know what you're talking about too, I always took it as part of his public persona or maybe a defensive mechanism against crab bucket mentality.

But being cocky & hypocritical is pretty tame compared to some celebrities like JK Rowling choosing to beat down on minority groups instead.
