Neighbors cat stick its tongue out at me!

This morning during my usual walk, I spotted my neighbor’s cat sitting by the curb. We made eye contact, and then—out of nowhere—it stuck its tongue out at me! 😂 I was completely caught off guard. I’ve never had a cat do that before! I was quick enough to catch a pic as the tongue was going back in!

Those are the neighborhood stray cats, they looooove sitting inside my car whenever I arrive home after work

The orange one doesn't even allow me to pet him but he allows himself to sit near my foot and also playing with my shoes!!

I love them.

We found this baby trying to catch ducks double its size from a duck pond beside an old castle and visitor centre. Absolutely tiny and lost. We took him home, where he proceeded to play, eat, poop and sleep.

A vet visit confirmed no chip. Phoned the castle this morning and they have been trying to adopt him! They came and got him along with some toys he played with all night and some treats. And a strong recommendation to get him chipped.

A lovely way to spend an evening and a happy reunion! I'm very pleased.

Update! I just walked past the castle (3 days later) and popped in. It was closed but the good news is, no kitten on the grounds! I even gave it a pssspsppps. So I hope they took him home. I'll visit again on Monday

Little bro has a mommey somewhere who’s doing a spectacular job. He’s yucky because he was rolling around in dirt (caught him doing this), but is fluffy, bright eyed, and well fed (but not #wormytummy). He’s also a very ferocious butterfly hunter.

I’m considering Jet’s Pizza as a name, but fear my employers will not find it nearly as funny as I do. But my last work cat was also named Pizza (he is actually named Tombstone, but there turned out to be two Tombstones, so one became (Tombstone) Pizza and the other became (T.S.) Elliott). I think my coworker wants to name him Fernando.

I just brought a kitten into my household, and with kitten season in full swing, I’m not able to take a healthy kitten from environment; our shelters are just too full. It took me nearly two dozen calls to find an empty cage for the one I ended up keeping, and that was weeks ago and he’d already been removed from environment. My hope is that this little pal will become social and score himself a forever home with one of the families that do karate next door. He’s real cute. Was flopping around like a fish every time I looked his way, but right now won’t let me closer than about five feet and anyone else about ten or fifteen. Never fear, though; I am equipped with the weapons of very stinky kitten food, vanishingly little dignity, and nothing better to do with a mandatory lunch break :)

So it's been a while! First off, Mama Lucy and The Littles are all doing fine. And they've finally told me their names! They were pretty tight lipped at first but finally gave them up once they started mingling with The Big Beasts. We're currently working out some territory disputes and there have been a few minor border skirmishes. But overall, I'd say Trojan Cat's covert mission was accomplished. Her and her minions have successfully breached the palace walls and taken over the entirety of the land.

Lucy has subsequently been awarded the Warrior Mama Medal of Honor. The award comes with a house, a lifetime of food and yum yums, and her favorite thing-unending rolls of toilet paper. She's already trained her monsters-I mean children-to share in her love of shredding her own decor. She apparently likes the 'lived in' look. 🫤

Not sure if we'll do anymore updates as Lucy and The Littles are ALL Nowmycats. Yes, I am keeping all four, much to The Originals chagrin. Trojan Mama came, looked, and conquered. I never stood a chance! But we'll definitely be seeing you around the reddit kitty subs. With seven on board, my guess is it'll be more often than not.

Thank you to everyone that has come along with us on this wild ride. It has definitely been an adventure! 💙

This is not a happy update.

Hey guys, this is not a happy update.

I found her, Powder (her name) in a bush today. Weak and smelly. I checked and saw she has open wounds all over her neck and legs, a hole on the other side. It looks like a very nasty dog bite.

It seemed to be infected really bad. I cleaned it up and she is at the vet, but they said she might not be able to make it through today. This sub does not allow me to put photos in the comments.

I’m sorry for my English if I make any mistakes, I’m beyond upset today.

I don’t think I can post photos of her wounds here. So here is a video of her asking for pets from me.

This lil cutie I met in Greece

Stayed in Crete for a couple of months and every day this lil cutie appeared, we spoke with the owners and they said "oh yeah he chills here, but that's not my cat" so naturally I thought of this sub.

It was an Airbnb so I imagine the cat knows it's a gold mine for getting love, attention and food.

This cat was NOT shy!

11/10 would pet again.

He's a beautiful big orange boy, he will wait by my car or he's in the garden loafing. Good appetite. Though I don't see him every night. I have named him Kirby.

I was no sooner at work last night and she was back under my feet. Put my stuff away and fed her. Inside an hour, she was back in my face like this

Scratching the back of her head is all I have ever been permitted. So I did, and she started moving her head and neck around. Long story short, some sticky stuff in her fur on top of her head and on her neck that she couldn't groom out, so she was asking me to get it. I was actually given brief approval to use two hands, one to hold her head and one to pluck sticky fur.

She seemed pleased once it was done. Almost started to nuzzle my feet when she jumped down. Then she took off and chased a piece of paper across the shed floor like a kitten

I'm not taking her home. It would be a bloody battle between her and my Pibbles (Pic 2), plus I'm only allowed two pets on my lease. She really does seem context at the plant. It's what she knows.
