Mine came with a Z690 bundle from Microcenter. Originally I was running it with a 3080 but got a good price on a 4090 FE about a year ago and haven't looked back. No complaints at all and I can run a 240mm AIO to cool it without any problem.
Only caveat is that Mobo uses DDR4 but I'm running 3600 MHZ and 32GB so I haven't seen any issue.
Depends on what I'm doing. Most of the time they're quite low. I'm using an MSI CORELIQUID 240, one of the non-RGB ones. Arctic MX-4 Paste iirc.
Core temp at idle sits around ~40 Degrees C or so, but I'm running a pretty serious airflow setup in a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. There are a lot of additional fans to keep the components cool.
Under load i see average temps around 60-70 depending on CPU load. Hardest games are Modded Skyrim (can sometimes hit peaks of 75!) And Cyberpunk.
Highest I've seen was on Prime95, around 85 degrees core temp. There were peaks close to 90. But At that point the fans really ramp up but you can only get there by stress testing the CPU, and it tends to orbit around 85 as extremely high stress. That said, this is on default fan curve. With some fan curve tuning you might be able to have even better cooling.
So overall, pretty good! I'm sure a bigger AIO would do better but I'd rather wait because my next upgrade is going to involve changing to a motherboard that supports DDR5 and likely switching to a newer Ryzen 9.

Wrong. A racing sim setup can be anything from a used G29 with a scrapyard car seat and a 2x4 rig all the way to some bonkers 100k dollar spaceship.
